tank uses multiple rotations on squishy carry
"wtf he one shot me"
"wtf he one shot me"
So true.
Go ahead tank haters. Downvote me, I can tank it.

No, you can't.
We need True Armor stat to counter Armor Penetration stat that is supposed to counter Armor stat. In case it would be imbalanced, we might simply make True Armor Penetration stat that will counter True Armor stat.

Geez, too serious. I suppose I am dumb. Very dumb. Like a wood.
No worries. I'm wood V dumb.
that is honestly the dumbest idea i've ever heard
-------joke------>
both of you
If that was a joke it wasn't funny at all...
Yes indeed it wasn't meant to be serious. If it didn't make you laugh, it's okay, it wasn't supposed to create standing ovation. However saying something "isn't funny at all" "is" funny itself as what is funny is fully subjective. I will now have to live my miserable life knowing I didn't make you out of 8 billions people on this Earth laugh and that shall haunt me in my dreams for sure.
I don't "hate" tanks, but what they have become in League is not what a tank should be.
Damage creep has made it so that tanks can easily out-damage melee fighters/carries late game. I've used 3-4 spell rotations as a mage against a tank and they survived while still managing to blow up one of my carries in the fight. Tanks SHOULD be able to absorb copious amounts of damage, yes, but the trade-off should ALWAYS be that they lose damage in doing so.
Almost every tank in League of Legends is capable of blowing up a carry even if they build absolutely no damage. Early game, I'm fine with it---high base damage helps get tanks through the laning phase, but their scaling should be low if not completely pitiful.
And herein lies the tug of war on the Boards...
Some people believe tanks should be utterly garbage through the game and only capable of soaking up damage in teamfights... others think tanks should outscale damage/carries late game. Both ends of that spectrum are absurd and would lead to a completely irrelevant class of champion or games that last 90 minutes respectively.
I don't think nor do I even believe that tanks outscale carries late game.
Damage creep hurt carries in the long run. The defensive boost next patch might solve this problem.
This.
I've seen videos about the tank meta and how boring people thought it was. But for me, it was a wet dream. This is what tanks should really be in my opinion: damage sponges. They take all the damage without dying, while dealing little damage. This is what a tank should be. But because people found that boring, we now have these big looking champs that are getting shredded by adc in seconds, but can deal massive amounts of damage.
Lol, go play like 3 games of HotS, and you will find new appreciation for the tanks in League. Their tanks are twice as bulky and hit twice as hard.
Leans forward angrily in rocking chair Back in my day, getting one shot meant you got Deathfire Grasped by an LB in a quarter of second...
back in my day, DFG's active had ap scaling so veigar could one shot anyone with just the item active!
Haha, yeah, he'd one shot someone with his ult and then a 2nd person with DFG -_-
Man I have a really unhealthy sense of nostalgia for old League of Legends...
To be fair.
Back then League was more of a "game" and less of a "competitive Sport"
What's the difference to your mind? I'm genuinely curious.
Back in the day there were a lot of things that were objectively overpowered and unhealthy, yet people didn't really seem to care an awful lot about it.
We had 90% ban rate Kassadin, yet nobody played him in normals. There was stuff like AP YI and Tryndamere, DFG one shots and overall the game didn't really seem to be based around actually winning and more about just having fun and messing around.
Nowadays Ranked and Normals are pretty much the same and you don't feel ranked being more professional or more tryhardy.
IMO the game was more streamlined once you guys at Riot figured out a design compass on what to orient yourself when designing your game. Overall the way the game is supported/handled and everything feeling more professional is what makes me feel it has become more like a sport and not something quirky and weird like it used to be in its original form.
Or maybe I'm just looking at it through rose-tinted goggles, it's been almost five years now since I started playing.

FTFY
There's no DFG in this one but it still sums up LeBlanc. It never gets old for me:
Haha yep, that's the exact clip I think of every time :D
Stands still and Right clicks
Lands 2 full spell rotations with a fully charged Q
''ADC in 2k17 LUL''
be carefull you might actually die before your Q is fully charged

tanks 2k17 LUUUUL
Shen places dodge zone on Sion
"CAN'T EVEN SCRATCH ME!"

"wow full tank build does so much dmg"
TIL from a silver player that Illaoi builds
"mostly tank" items
IDK what carries expect when they try 1v1 a fed tank with no lifesteal.
To kill everything. At least that's what I think whenever I play a damage character.
"I must kill everyone"
"let's get in range"
"thanks"
You could build Cho like a tank, but why would you even do that when you could

Why go

When you could go

Why not both.
So many of those aren't even tanks.

Juggernauts were almost exclusively considered "off-tanks" for a long while before the term Juggernaut was formed. They often were the tanks of the team and had as much health and resistances as regular tanks....... The only difference really is that Juggernauts give up more hard CC and team protection, and gain more damage than regular tanks.
Your commentary was not needed and not appriciated seeing as you commented just to slam them because they are "entertainers" and you view them as wrong. Who cares? Its a good song and it fits with the theme of the thread.

before the term "juggernaut" became official, they were commonly referred to as bruisers.
only new people to the game refferred to them as tanks, as they couldnt make out the difference. basically just like today.
I think off tank was a pretty common term, referring to anyone tanky enough to be a frontline presence.
But years ago the phrase off tank was understood to be not a tank. Malphite with no damage was a tank. A scarner with triforce was not a tank. He was an off tank. Or a bruiser. The problem is that off tank build are being considered tank builds when they just are not.
In other words:
For an off-tank, tankiness is a means to an end. For a tank, tankiness is the end.

Doesn't really matter what they technically are when they function as tanks regardless.
shouldn't be able to build BC and delete the entire champion rooster. Arguably he doesn't even need BC to do what he does.
You build tank - you're a tank. Arguing otherwise is just of the same nature as today's bureaucracy riddles, i.e bullshit justfication.

Except you know...they don't beyond being hard to kill.
Jugs: Damage Tanks: Ton of cc
It really isnt rocket science xD

They're tanks. Doesn't matter what you imagine in your head. Tank ekko, tank shaco, tank fizz - they're all tanks. That is how they function within a game. You can argue semantics all you want, it won't change the fact that they're tanks. Tank is a function and is separated from from the tank class (which just happens to be called tanks). The fact is that most champs can be built in different ways.
But I suppose in your head a full lethality J4 is a tank as well even though he just changed himself into an assassin.

No, no, and no. I've explained this enough today that I don't feel the need to explain it again.
But I suppose in your head a full lethality J4 is a tank as well even though he just made himself an assassin.
No, he's a diver.
What matters is their function, not their technical classification. Keep on arguing semantics.
J4 is a tank lul. Stay wrong, buddy.

edit: J4 hasn't actually been played like a tank in ages. He's mainly been used as a heavy burst fighter.
As I said, J4 is a tank. Some pointless link with meaningless subclasses won't change jack.
