are more AD casters than relying on their auto-attacks right ? Imo this item is basically as forgiving as 's passive, it's not rewarding them for hitting their skills, it's forgiving them for missing their skills, still managing to deal damage

No, because most users of it do rely on their auto-attacks. Like you never see Heimerdinger building it. AD assassins should hit their skills, and not dealing as much damage by simply auto-ing someone

That's a load of crap.

It's like saying "Ezreal doesn't land his Q 3 times? He souldn't have the empowered AA from his TriForce because it's giving him free damage". Makes no sense.

Also why throw shade on Zoe's passive? Zoe's passive is literally Lich Bane. Like LITERALLY. Your post is not thought out at all.

Talon is actually heavily reliant on getting that auto in after getting 3 passive procs on an enemy, just saying. He loses out on a lot of his combo's damage if he doesn't

I do understand the point you're trying to make though, but it's also not fair to not even mention the tons of assassins that are reliant on auto attacks

what about assassins like rengar, shaco and khasix who have very few skill shots and need to rely on those types of items for auto attack damage

Those champions already have empowered auto attacks. When you pair those abilities with Duskblade damage and then Electrocute, it's just instant death with no counterplay since two of those champions aren't shown from control wards and Rengar can leap onto you from a distance.

i do agree with you but the op is saying that duskblade is contradictory to assassins because it rewords them for missing skill when the item is primarily meant for the assassin's without any skill. Although it is still overtuned

all of them have an AA in their combo,also many AD assassins already have an ability that empowers one AA

also if they could apply with their abilities it would be the same,for example zed would proc it with his E instead of his AA,making it even worse since he doesn't even have to take some risk (W E) for using it
