The Juggernaut update fixed a ton of core issues on Darius, yet he remains fairly binary

The juggernaut update fixed a ton of core issues on Darius, namely counterplay available to his opponents. However counterplay still remains an issue in his kit since nearly part of him is basically unavoidable and targeted.

This being the case, in my opinion Q is perfectly fine and the new passive is a good gimmick for him. So if anything is looked at for fundamental changes to fix this core issue, I'd take a look at what can be done with W. Feel like there's alot of potential for this otherwise "just kinda there" ability.

For instance, imagine with Darius' W was Xin's new W. Not that this is what should happen but even that would alleviate some of the melee counterplay issue.
