PSA: Quit using Zhonyas to block a Bard ult.

It's like flashing a Caitlyn Ult. It has no effect, and in reality, you're essentially making the ult hit you earlier.

I saved a Heimer from being ganked in mid-lane due to this once. Four enemies jumped him and he immediately zhonya'd. They moved into position around him to wait him out as my ult landed. Heimer's zhonya ended and he walked away as if nothing happened. Of course, the four enemies did a wreckless dive on a prepared heimer +team afterward and got aced. One of the best ults I've used / seen used as bard.

In theory, if a Bard throws an ult to you in a precarious situation and you zonhya before it lands, you will snap out of the golden stasis earlier than you would if the ultimate hit you, giving you a bigger window to escape, by bigger I mean like a second, tops.

Not the best solution, but I don't think it's in the same spot as flashing Cait's ult.

Actually it makes sense: if you are in zhonias before the bard ult hits you, you will go out of stasis earlyer than the others in the bard ult. Quite nice if you have to get away from enemies ^^

If they're using it to catch you out though, it literally doesn't matter. They still have 2.5 seconds to reach you, regardless.

I zhonyas sometimes just to show off. The item is expensive and it turns me into gold, so I must be fed.

Never seen it. And it can actually be useful.

Bard ult hits but your Zhonya's has ticked for 1.5s now you get extra time to run from them while they are possibly around you. Maybe this guy doesn't understand versatility.

I could see myself doing it in a panic moment. But not intentionally...

Then again, if you activate Zhonya's before the projectile hits, you'll recover from stasis before those around you. Which, in theory, could make or break a fight or something. Bard's ult does weird things

I kinda disagree. 1.) I preffer to be under Zhyona uder my own actions, so for example if i Zhyona faster than Bard hits me = i'll move faster afterwards. It might sound like much, but 0,5s is enough sometimes to survive. 2.) Lets say you have about 2 seconds left for Barrier/shield skill. Flash would give you enough time for your defenses to come out of CD. Then it isn't so dumb to use it, right?
