What is griefing in video games? A griefer is a player in a multiplayer video game who deliberately irritates and angers other players within the game, using aspects of the game in unintended ways.

So if I'm not trying to deliberately irritate and anger other players (aka trying to win) by using aspects of the game in unintended ways (any champion is allowed to be played in any role by the rules of Rito)... then there's no chance I'm griefing whatsoever!

Perhaps if I were intentionally feeding or flaming others in chat or something, but a champion pick is so far away from the borderline it's almost on another axis plane!

The point is that the adc meta is strict. If you go off meta it is almost(aka borderline) griefing(or reportable). Since its common knowledge that certain adcs right now have a sizeable advantage over the nonmeta picks right now.

It's not borderline reportable whatsoever. You can't report someone for champion picks alone, even if they went Darius ADC.

You cannot force someone to play how you want them to, there is no rule that you have to play meta, and Riot has supported that time and time again.
