Is the new bruiser items good on Gangplank or is glasscannon still superior?

I have been aiming for a more bruiser build rather than glasscannon GP and honestly it seems quite fun and it felt kinda a strong.

This has been my goal (order of items may be varied)

I haven't reached full build yet in my games, but I think this build has alot of potentional even tough GP isnt the top Steraks user(in terms of base AD), but it gives him high survivability and time use his amazing oranges.

While and don't amplify barrel damage I feel it gives power to his Q if he chooses to directly poke his opponent and since you can last hit with barrels you can retain the movement speed of forever.

Not to mention Titanic hydra effectively increases your harras range, by either hitting minions with Q or basic attacks.

Needless to say this GP is more close and personal and is less dependant on barrels and his Q has more more utility in that he can apply a 75% slow and deal a decent chunk of damage because of Titanic hydra and Sheen.

Also if you melee auto barells(when having titanic hydra) you can layer 2 AoE effects on the enemy, because of the hydra cone and the barrel explosion.
