on champs that can abuse attack speed, it seems to be a bit too cheap and does it's job too well.
Ok so raw stats.
40 magic resist(70 with stacks applied) 40 attack speed and 42 magic dmg on hit.
Now put that on a champ like 
who deals mostly true dmg and just watch him shred any mage. He's not the only one though.
Edit: Since I can see people are already thinking I'm talking about balance, I'm not. I'm referring to the 2400 gold cost.

I like to run wits on Irelia mid when the enemy team has a lot of magic dmg. But that is only if I'm snowballing. Because the item will be so useless after 14 minutes. The only thing it'll give you is some on hit dmg, as and mr. HP, AD and such would be better stats to have in most games.
Hotarµ3 votesThe issue/drawback of Wit's End is that it's such a niche item that most champions won't ever build it. Even Yi will just go for something like BoTRK, Shiv, PD, or any other attack speed item. It's usually only good if your team / the enemy team has 2-3+ AP champions, and even then most people will just go for Maw.
I do agree that it's kind of "sleeper OP" though, I love building it when I can.

Also yes it is probably too cheap like most mr items have around 50mr and wits starts at 40 then goes up to 70 yes you have to stack it but you can stack it on minions and it reduces mr too like it is very good.

its also using an entire item slot for an 2400 gold item...
