Why? I Play support.
Not only has Support underwent tons of nerfs this season..... the new bounty system essentially is destroying my gold count.
I can go 7/2/19 
with the new bounty system, more damage than anyone on the other team, more heals than the other team combined, .... and my 10/4/12 Jinx who started off 1/3 still beats me by 4000g.
I'm getting depressed. That I can't get to 4 items.

that's good, support already get too much gold, considering how good and cheap their items are. I'm really looking forward to when riot nerfs supports further after adc nerfs.

Supports are down noticeably more gold than the other positions as you'd expect. Breakdown looks roughly like this at 35 minutes:
Top -325 Mid -260 Jungle -250 (though with the largest variance depending on the champion in question) Bot -250 Support -420
So yeah, you get less gold, but the difference compared to your adc is only 170 on average. And I think that's reasonable.
honestly supports need even less gold.

use a real example, not these made up numbers
