First Strike Promotion is Perfect for Players Like Myself

Let me just say Riot, bravo on the Project Skins!

Not only do they look sick but IMO the splash arts are amazing as well. But my favorite thing about them is the First Strike Promotion and having the ability to distinguish myself by owning a limited loading screen border!

I'm one of those players that spends FAR too much money buying skins (I have no idea how much I've spent, nor do I wish to find out lest I quit League our of sheer shock). As one of these people, I absolutely LOVE rare skins, icons, wards, ect., and the First Strike loading borders are right up my alley!

So the point of this post (aside from expressing my need for rare swag) is to pitch an idea regarding past rare skins which are resurfacing from time to time for special sales. I know when Riot first re-released the Legacy skins a while back, they gave the original owners of said skins special loading screen borders to set them apart and reward them for buying the skins when they first were released. I would love to see something like this again for the Championship line of skins. I bought Championship Thresh when first released, as well as Championship Shyvanna. Sadly I wasn't a player when Championship Riven was released :(.

Let me say that I love when rare skins come back because it means if I was foolish enough to miss it the first time (or had not joined the League at the time) I can still partake in the joy of a semi-rare skin. But I feel like they lose a little of their rarity when they come back again and again and again. The First Strike approach I feel is a great way to give everyone what they want. The initial buyers get the sweet loading screen banner that will not come back when the skins are released again later, but the rest of the community will still be able to acquire these skins at a later date.

TL;DR- Special loading screens for rare skins are awesome and we should apply them to reoccurring rare skins such as Championship skins!
