start machete + 3 pots/refillable against easy lane opponents

level 1, hard push with w. most ap mids can't punish you. once the melees are dead, they can't auto you anymore because of minion aggro. go immediately to take your raptors. kill a small one first so you get level two

level 2, hard push the second wave with w and q. once you finish pushing the wave, go immediately to your opponent's raptors (your enemy mid will have to choose between stopping you and losing farm at tower). if the opposing jungler took a normal path, they should still be there

you should have a 1 and a half level advantage at all times; you can all in most immobile mid laners at this point. first back, buy hexdrinker

Even when we played TP/Smite top Shyvana we didnt start machete.

This confuses me, once the melee minions are dead, you have to walk up to their ranged minions and take those as well. They can just walk back and keep up the autos. Minions are really easy to work around with aggro unless you're hard diving someone in the middle of the wave.

Sure you can theorically all in midlaners with a level advantage like that, but anyone who isn't an idiot won't let you get close to them in the first place. Shv doesn't have a gap closer till 6, and even then its really short ranged. Besides, unless you can snowball the lane, they'll eventually do better than you in teamfights because of the ranged damage and utility they bring.

I'd guess this strat would work in Bronze and Silver, but anything past that, you'd get your butt handed to you by any competent midlaner.

Just because it works one time against people that might not know what to do against it doesn't mean it's something good.

This sounds incredibly stupid and any half decent opponent would make you pay for trying some fuckshit like that.
