I played a game as Yasuo today to learn all his counter play. Here's what I learned so far.

He actually did. He played against a Viktor 7 divisions below him and fed. Doesn't exactly help his Yasuo=OP case very much.

Don't fight him in your minion wave. If you have to run from him, go through the jungle, as a minion wave coming through the lane will let Yasuo to catch you.

If you are in a ranged champ, just AA him to keep his shield down. Bait his wall, as hard as it is, it is still the only way. You don't even have to use an ability, just approach him threateningly.

If Yasuo is on top of you, light him up, he would need the wind wall on a script to block point-blank abilities. When Yasuo does engage, he may activate wind wall preemptively, so wait it out or out maneuver it before using abilities.

If you have hard cc, use it on him just as he launches his tornado, so that in case he does hit you with it, he will be unable to ult. Save your hard cc until then.

If you are trying to harass him, ensure that he is unable to retaliate, such as hitting him just as you last allied minion dies, so that his mobility is severely limited. Always make sure that wind wall and his shield are down before attempting poke.

If you must engage him, engage after he launches the tornado. This allows the maximum amount of time for you to attack before he is able to launch another tornado, and possibly ult.

His shield is designed against burst, not dot abilities.

Good stuff, maybe a little optimistic but useful. Wasted in a circlejerk thread sadly

I wreck him with Annie... AA at the begging of a wave to remove the shield, burst him at the end of the wave before the shield comes back up.

I've been playing tf a lot. Really its a losing lane, but if you sit back and farm, pop his sheild, then bait his windwall with your w, you should be fine. Just lock in gold card and he'll use his wind wall. Wait it out, then throw it. Also if he's trying to be fancy and dash around under tower, just stun him asap and hope he doesnt react with wind wall. Im in s3 so most of the yasuo's dont actually know what they are doing.

First off: I hate Yasuo and I think he is overpowered and overloaded BUT

You lost against Viktor as Yasuo (you gold 4 he bronze 1) and now you expect to learn everything about Yasuo. You dude are the definition of circlejerk. Tell us a solution of how to fix Yasuo or stop crying and making those clickbait ''I would sell my body for upvotes threads''.

You're going to be downvoted because you're stating the truth and not saying "duhhh yasuo is op no counterplay"

Im fine with that as long as I can reach that more people think about possibilities to balance the game.

He's going to be downvoted for being abrasive :P I'm sure if he managed to get the same point across without the inclusion of harassment at OP he might even be upvoted.

Actually, I didn't lose to Viktor, I lost to my team, did anybody actually look who was on my team?

I always tell people the best counter to Yasuo is Akali she can dash to make his windfall 100% useless, and she out damages him tenfold

Left Hook Larry1 votes

Every assassin shits on him

Bleediss2 votes

is this meant to be taken seriously as a fact gameplay cries about whatever champion they deem OP and ignores all counterplay options given to them

or it is meant to be taken as a really, really, really, bad joke

Left Hook Larry2 votes

Clearly you showed us how easy he is to play.

  • Mains Ekko as well. Speaks about no counterplay. LOL
LegacyDAP1 votes

"mains Ekko"

Lmao I already know he's got like almost 0 counterplay.

btw. I main Zed.

also I played a shit ton of kha and mao. you want to say they have no counterplay either?

Left Hook Larry1 votes

Most games played on Ekko in ranked. And you clearly showed us how Yasuo has 0 counterplay by getting shit on when playing him LOL

LegacyDAP1 votes

actually it's maokai, but nice one fucktard.

Both are cancer anyways

One game which probably was against ppl who knew nothing about their champions too.

I guess you only need one game to know everything about any champion too.

Lol'd after realizing the joke and the truth behind it.
