This game is way too unbalanced in higher Elo's

Hallbuster··1 votes·861 views

I just played a game where our team had a 14 kill lead by the end (We were 30, the other team was 16). Somehow, the game still dragged on to 40 minutes ( Nobody hit level 18 quite surprisingly ) because they all had stronger champions: Syndra, Warwick, Sion, Lulu, and Lucian. While we did win ( excuse the misconception ), I do not think this game was balanced. Its no wonder you have to be a meta sheep in order to climb! Imagine if we went even or lost the lead! We would have been stomped!

https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Hallbuster You're Silver 3... you're still in low elo.

Elo is not a good representation, MMR is more accurate so while I am in Silver 3, I'm actually getting more Silver 2 and above players in my games.

High Elo is Diamond---not Silver.

Throws happen all the time in Bronze-Gold. Plat starts seeing better quality players but the skill disparity is still quite large.

I'd even only consider D1+ to be high elo.

DeathBurst2 votes

That's a bit of an elitist definition. I think the top 5% can be called "High Elo"... And this is only Plat3.

Eunson1 votes

Lots of people in NA buy boosts from Bronze to DV.

DeathBurst1 votes

Define "lots". Because even despite all the boosted players, D5 is still less than 2% of the Ranked player base. So you get what, .5% of boosted? I don't care about .5%, and I'm convinced it's even less than that.

Yeah...boosts TO high elo.

Just cause someone can boost to D5 doesn't mean D5 isn't high elo. Just means they pay someone to get them to high elo.

Your current MMR = 1,365 Silver 3

The Average MMR for Silver 3 97LP is 1,378.

You've actually below Silver 3 average. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Ralanr1 votes

That's still not high elo.

Then git bad like the rest of us and now the game is balanced.

Kappa.

Looks more like you guys couldn't end and threw the game at one big teamfight.

Hallbuster1 votes

We did lose one team fight partly in response to bad coordination but won the last which helped us win. Still, you're telling me something isn't fishy when you have a 16 kill lead and still can't end the game? We weren't stalling either, we were constantly rotating lanes.

My apologies, I misread you complaining about losing.

As for taking so long to win, no not really. Why couldn't you push through and destroy the Nexus earlier? A replay might help.

The turrets in mid and bot were heavily defended while Sion was splitting top. I did take some drastic measures by tower diving which lead to at least one of my deaths if I can recall properly. After I got cc'd right under it.

Ralanr2 votes

Why was no one stopping Sion from splitpushing? He's not a great tower pusher and would mainly rely on the wave. Sending someone with good waveclear would have stopped his push long enough to probably do something.

Or you just force enough pressure in another lane that Sion finds himself needing to leave the lane to help.

Nothing special in both teams.

Hallbuster1 votes

Out of the 5 champions I can say: Syndra ( atleast her ultimate ) is op, Warwick is op, Lucian is definitely op, Lulu as one of the best supports is probably op, and maybe Sion was mediocre or a trash champion.

no one pretends the game to be balanced whoever tells u the opposite is a Liar, a Riot Employee or an uneducated player. and as Scary Door said diamond 3-4+ is high elo not silver. riot desperately try to balance the game w/o success and the last few years they barely comunicate with the comunity about champions and how they can get better for example never saw a single post about that at the end we are who pay their bills literaly and isnt it right to be more involved in the actuall game huh?

Anything above 50% should be considered high Elo or if you really want to go that far: 66% if there's low, middle, and high. Regardless Silver 2 is at least close to 66%, 39.34 - 4.82 + 29.36 = 63.88 if you follow this rank distribution system:

the mmr system has been proven to be not realistic u cant just go and speak with stat's like this because u try to compare silver player to a diamond lvl of skill if u go up against diamond u are going to get shit on like u are a minion so please dont just go and try to hold yourself with bare stat's from the net.

higher Elo's

Is silver

Uhh not trying to rank shame or anything but it's kinda relevant when specifically attempting to discuss an issue in "higher Elo's"

I don't even consider gold high ELO although I guess it technically is, relative to the total population

I consider plat the start of high ELO as it's roughly the top 10% although I'm sure a D1 player would disagree with me

I guess it's all kinda relative but low-mid silver is pretty much the average

You all have no idea how to finish a game, there was one death near a neutral objective

https://i.gyazo.com/14fb20cf0db62c0c23f597e97a10906c.png

That was Lee Sin near rift herald at 14 minutes. Maybe take a baron or elder if you want to win quicker next time instead of fucking around the bot jungle and mid lane.

Hallbuster1 votes

Rift actually got stolen by the other jungler, Warwick back there. I couldn't leave my lane because Syndra would follow me.

nm10104 votes

I don't care about who got the herald, the point is you had a game go 40 minutes because you don't know how to win games not because of champion picks. You should've been on baron at the latest 25 minutes with a 6k gold lead, but you never even took it. You just ran around their jungle and mid lane, there isn't even a death near baron for miles.

Hallbuster1 votes

Yes, this is what we should have done.

Translation: Look at this game I just had as Vladimir where I went 15/3 !!1!111!!!11!!!!

Hallbuster1 votes

I can carry most of my Vladimir games or at least break even more often than not. Furthermore, those 3 deaths could also have been prevented so no I am not entirely proud of the score.

Post a replay. I'll be glad to point out why you couldn't choose out the game. Hint: it wasn't your champions.

Hallbuster1 votes

I'll try getting it on video although I might already have a clue as to why it took so long. someone pointed out we should have gone for baron at 25.

Pie Cubed1 votes

In my opinion the only time rank can be an argument for credibility is Platinum IV+. Silver is not high elo. It's quite trash. So is Gold, for that matter.
