Even for a new champ the win rate on ivern is low...

31% win rate on ivern is pretty much preposterously low. The champion has a somewhat disjointed kit, virtually no free power other than his W, and is a squishy champ who building tank on feels bad because his ultimate is pretty underwhelming. He's in the 20%s for lanes too which is even worse.

His style is completely different from what most junglers expect. He's very team reliant and utility-based, where most junglers play either straight up damage dealers or hardcore initiators. Ivern is really neither of these.

Hm lets see here, he JUST came out, no one has a damn clue how to play him..Remember when Lucian first game out it was a week until people understood he was a damn burst champion.

Support gone jg dude, its gonna take jungle mains time to adjust to the playstyle and to the champ himself. along with discovering the best jg routes and power spikes.

I honestly feel like Ivern feels really healthy right now.

I think the main factors are there people don't quite know how to play with an ivern, also I think a lot has to do with people are building jungle items even though he almost benefits Zero from any of them until it's completely built. your best bet is to start out with literally anything else. With health in runes are masteries, athenes is one of the best items to build first because his shield works amazing with it.

It's because jungle mains are building him full AP and expecting that they'll be getting kills as always. NO. HE IS A SUPPORT TANK. That means Tracker's + Cinderhulk, Deadmans, Abyssal Scepter, Frozen Heart, Liandy's, etc. If you build it on Amumu you build it on Ivern.

That would make his shield worthless.

I've tested him a couple times and he definitely needs AP or his abilities won't do squat for anyone. Daisy's health also scales on his AP. Finally, he doesn't have a kill combo. He is utility. He needs cdr to make the most out of that utility.

He is support, yes, but he is a squishy support. He seems like the jungle equivalent of Lulu.

Everything in your argument doesn't apply...

AP: item 3001 item 3174 item 3027 item 3504 item 3151 item 3030 item 3165 CDR: item 3174 item 3504 item 3222 item 3190 item 3069 item 3083 item 3110

Things you shouldn't be buying on Ivern: item 3146 item 3152 item 3115 item 3089 item 3285 item 3020 item 1402 item 3100

His optimal build is still not figured out. People are still learning how to use and abuse his kit. I have lla few games on him as support and still need to figure out how I want to build him to suit my playstyle.

He's new and not obviously op, so it takes time for people to solve the puzzle of optimal build/plays.

I think these numbers are skewed. I have been playing nothing but Ivern in the jungle, AP Tank/ Support, and out of 10 games I've lost 2. Just have to have a different mindset. He's not going to carry, but he damn sure will help someone else carry.
