Is Annie mid good in ranked

I was mid and decided to play Annie mid since I don't do it and haven't tried in a while but to be honest, you point and click then flash ult (soon to be starburst ult). Then someone said she's bad in ranked so I picked talon. I wanted the most brain-dead champion but had to go for some decision making. But I've also heard some high elo players hate playing vs Annie mid. She does have an amazing initiation with an ult stun which is just as good if not better than a malphite ult. My last game with malphite, I got good ults to help my feeding team win midgame fights and only died once through the whole game. Yes she's squishy but dat 5 man aoe stun. O is she good in ranked. (Probably will be nxt patch)

She can be good in certain matchups. She's not "bad."

Also, please don't flash ult unless you are coordinating plays with friends/teammates or you are late to the fight and your team needs help quick. So then you have your escape ready in other situations.

I always walk up and ult unless otherwise.

Next patch you can have buy a starburst. Free flash on 60 sec cool down. Then you flash away.

I personally enjoy playing her mid in ranked. Working my way to plat with pretty much only her. Next patch she is going to be way better. Especially with the Damage reduction on her E. Just learn that there are many champions that can be a pain to deal with. Anything that out ranges or has skill shots that go through minions will usually be able to beat you in lane. The only way you are going to win lane against them is to wait for them to get in your range. If you go to them hoping to trade you will usually get hit by their abilities and may often not be able to actually get in the trade.

the only reason I like about annie is because she has the potential to shutdown any mobile/flashy mid laners.

Annie mid resembles Lissandra Mid more than any other champions

Lissandra mid is also super good right now and hella meta, so to answer your question, yes annie mid is indeed good.

Why Annie over lissandra?

-More Burst -Can hit more people at once with her ult

Why Lissandra over Annie?

-More Mobility -More Reliable CC

Team comps in where you play annie/lissandra in?

-Comps that have a very burst adc or top laner, so your adc/top laner can immediatly follow up with a explosion of damage -Teams where you have at leaste one solid front line bruiser, to make sure once you do land your cc onto people that the tank can assure, if they don't die, they are defiantly not running.

She's good. High utility when behind, difficult to shut down when ahead. The thing is that anyone with superior range and/or early burst is her hard counter. This will change with Rocket Belt and her update coming out, as she'll become perma-ban.

Yes, annie is good in ranked. Obviously it depends on the team to some extent. She has great utility and incredible damage, esp early and mid. Most people in low elos just dont respect the annie enough and roaming and nuking top or bot lane is an easy possibility. Farming is also super easy on her with Q and long auto range.
