What do you guys think about the new Essence Reaver?

Tbh i thought it was going to be a good 1st item power spike,i think Riot had that in mind,but its really only useful when you already have a lot of AS and CDR so you can reset abilities faster,not to mention its not really that usefull when your ult is a channel not to mention

I guess it can be decent on

But,it has a 30 second cd as an item not to mention its effect is tied to your ultimate and last 8 seconds,so if you're playing Kog and you want to poke,well tough luck now you have to wait for it to go back up and can't use it in a teamfight when you need it the most to reset your W.

But i think the biggest problem i have with it is how situational it feels. If your ult is on a 100 second cd, thats an effect that becomes useless for 100 seconds after you've cast your ult.

Its also an effect that is useless in every situation you're fighting and not ulting,for example when poking. Also not to mention a lot of the times you'll ult,and the enemy will just disengage,for example when people see Lucian ult they just run away or try and dodge it,and if you try to commit after it so you can proc your ER then its very likely you're now on the frontline,exactly the opposite of where you want to be usually
