Why? Why would you even do that at all? Do you not like variety in the game? With sated devo people like Vayne jungle are EXCEPTIONALLY strong but their drawback is that they can not only get counter jungled to all hell, until they actually get sated but she cant even gank properly until afterwards as well.

Caitlyn Jungle can stack her Headshots incredibly fast even FASTER if she uses the brush to her advantage.

Miss Fortune Impure shots stacks. Twisted Fate Card Stacks.

What will happen to Range/Melee champs like Gnar? Kayle? Does that mean that while having ranged attacks its going to be every 4th hit is a bonus hit while in Melee its going to be every other hit? Like seriously.

You are losing MORE in terms of possible variety play by nerfing it than you are gaining.

Ahem... yeah, uh Vayne Vayne with Sated Devourer item 3930 is basically the most OP shit in this game. Seriously, like, with Vayne-Sated Devourer, very easy Pentakill right there. I have no idea where you got the "variety" thing in this game, but in this game, it's basically OP as fuck, or horrible as balls.

Is that why you almost never see Vayne jungle in high ranked play? I wonder why... Hmm.. It couldnt be because she gets CRAPPED on by every other jungler UNTIL she gets sated. Meaning by 17-20 minutes the game is OVER if you have successfully counter jungled and stopped vayne. She doesnt even have good ganks until sated.

Who said Vayne Vayne needed to gank? There are some junglers with little to no ganking potential and require heavy farming in either their jungle alone, the enemy's jungle, or both. I've seen Vayne jungle matches before, believe me, they have failed miserably, but only about 60% of the time. Vayne would come swooping in and sweeping up an easy kill when the enemy champion is weakened by another.

If one focuses way too hard on trying to counter-jungle Vayne when she is jungle, first off, you are doing the right thing, but second off, you are not ganking for your team for being too focused on "trying to shut her down."

1: Don't play the game if you don't like it. 2: Stated Vayne isn't OP, easily counter jungle her deny her stacks and just destroy her in her own jungle early on. 3: Go play Dota if you think this game is "OP as fuck"

I do play Dota 2 (personally, I like their gameplay better than this game's, but I like the characters of this game better in my opinion). However, even in Dota 2, there are some Heroes that are technically OP in that game, Riki is an example, easy to counter, but never taken advantage of and snowballs hard Late-game.

Look at the reddit board for Sated Devo nerfs. LITERALLY all it touched was RANGED champions, who weren't even primary users of the item. Literally people even stated and I quote

"The only champ that today's PBE nerf affects is Kayle. Nobody was buying devourer on Vayne outside of troll builds and I've literally seen 0 Twisted Fate in the jungle. I guess it'd affect Gnar as well but you rarely see him build a non-Cinderhulk jungle item. All the champs that abuse it (Shyvana, Master Yi, Udyr, Jax, etc) are melee and are thus unaffected by this change."

What does this mean? It means that it was just a VARIETY style of play available to ranged champions just for the sake of fun. However they decided to nerf if for the people who DONT EVEN USE IT often or at all.

All the people who ABUSE it are unchanged.

So what is your defense for that?

There is none. Its a shitty decision period.

its a freaking 15% NERF! for RANGED only characters. Like holy hell, it makes NO sense.

Especially since they have Kindred releasing soon, a RANGED jungler, but yet they nerf the Devourer for RANGED champions.

Essentially FORCING people to build the same 2 jungling items.

The current devourer would be too broken with Kindred, which is why it has to be nerfed with their release.

Infinitely scaling on hit with no CD on procs proccing 3 times every two hits instead of twice. Adding bortk to that, you get for some insane and unfair power.

So it's to balance Kindred, while nerfing some slightly problematic champions on the side.
