Tips on CSing effectively?

my early cs game is relatively good, but when mid to late game hits i’m so focused on not dying and teamfighting that my CS significantly drops (when compared to my early game) and when i watch pro players on NALCS every weekend i’m incredibly surprised in how they can consistently increase their CS to up to like 500 every game, depending on the game duration. and it seems like every laner has around the same amount of CS on both sides with the jungles having around 300 and the support with like 50 or something, and it doesn’t even seem that that many minions spawn in a game. how do they do this? do they like farm jungle or just focus lanes? this has been bugging me for the longest time and i’ve been trying to fix it but i’m not sure how to, so if anyone could help me or give me tips that would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

Well, for one, understand that in the higher ELOs, top laners and, in some cases, even mid laners will give waves to an AD, or the other way around. They're also able to freeze waves, slow push, stack waves and bounce waves which all come into play.

Just focus on the CS in general. If Dragon is not up and baron/herald are down just focus on the CS you can get without walking in blind. But make sure Freezing lane helps depending on which lane you are in. Since it seems you enjoy Ekko you will eventually get to a point where you hit the melee creeps once and then throw your Q out and clear the entire wave. Once that happens to go a new lane and help push while taking their cs with you.
