Why was it only mid and jungle that got their top tier picks sweep nerfed?

Where are the meta support nerfs to thresh/braum/blitzcrank

What about top where we only see Renekton/Gragas/J4 every game.

Don't even get me started on ADC

Why only pick on two roles to improve diversity?

Because those are the only two roles that lack major diversity, bot lane is already diverse and sure top could use some help but it's still in a better state than mid and jungle.

Isn't it obvious? The red headed step child roles/champs of league is mid and jungle (no offense to any red headed step children). They are not the real "playmakers" that everyone watching the pro scene gets to watch. Jungle has been contorted from a game changing gank king to another support role. I assume mid is the same way.

Oh and goodluck trying to get Riot to nerf support champs. I think hell would freeze over first.
