Yesterday was Karma's Rework birthday and here are 5 things Riot left unfinished. * /r/leagueoflegends

A reddit user by the name of Wistama posted a thread on Karma's rework. It's been 3 years since Karma's heap of mess is left without proper amendments. And another attempt by the Riot balance team to buff her for what seems to be 5th/6th time has not worked well in their favor. I figured I'll leave this here, and let the rest of the thread do the speaking.

Those are some interesting and weird points there. I never realized that Karma just has a shorter Shen dance. And the fact that Zed and Heimer got a haste animation, and Karma doesn't, is also questionable.

I know, they didn't have a champion update team back then, but the more I think about it, the more half-assed this rework seems. No clear theme, no sprint animation, no unique dance, most abilities just something that was already in the game,....

Also to quote Shika37 on this, because it's pretty spot on.

She's more viable today (I guess), but she was way more entertaining to play before. Now she just feels bland, gameplay and design-wise.

Riot seriously need to finish her, why on earth did they leave out her shield animation? It was decent :/. I think one of Karma's biggest problems might be that her original designer no longer works at Riot, if he were there perhaps he would have personally saw to it she was dealt with properly... who knows.

As far as I know, Guinsoo is still with Riot, but he's in another department now.

Coronach was the guy who designed her initial kit, but Guinsoo was the one in charge of reworking her. As far as originality was concerned, Guinsoo had tried to keep to her old kit whilst providing her with better utility and crowd control during the process of reworking her.

Yeah I was referring to her original designer, but even with Guinsoo, his initial rework of Karma was a lot more fun than current. I was thinking that maybe if her designer was still there to work she'd probably be a lot better taken care of. It's crazy that she was shipped to live without haste or shield animations, or a dance of her own. It's even crazier that her concept art looks like the finished version of her current design, that reddit post does an amazing of pointing out just how shoddy and incomplete a rework Karma's was.

I agree with the points made, and I hope they finish her, but I find her both rewarding and above average on the power scale. I max her shield for almost consistent wins in the bot lane. Get her the item 3504 , after item 3096 , and item 3009 and you can basically dominate the bot lane.
