Juggernauts are just better tanks.
Change my mind. They do an asston more damage, have almost the same amount of cc, have more sustain and tank things harder than tanks.

Darius and crew have more CC than Poppy, Ornn, Rammus, and others? In what way?
Garen has no CC except for an autoattack range silence, Mordekaiser has none at all, Illaoi has one slow on a slow moving, telegraphed skillshot, and Darius has one short-range pull and one autoattack slow.
Ornn can initiate teamfights from across the map and lock teams down with consistent slows or knockups, Leona can lock down enemies for several seconds and also has a great engage, Poppy can both lock down and completely remove enemies from fights, the list goes on and on.
The defining difference between Tank and Juggernaut is their CC and damage. Tanks have more CC, Juggernauts have more damage and the same survivability but without the CC, ultimately making them kitable and vulnerable to mobility based champions.
Besides, both feel shitty to play as ATM, so it kinda tells you how related they are in a way. Tanks right now pay a survivability price for their cc, and juggernauts pay the same price but for their damage. When will Riot finally address them. It feels insulting when certain tanks have the same base stats of a squishy high damage bruiser.
In what world does Irelia, Darius, and Garen have more CC then Zac, Naut, and Sejunai?
Basically people are simply not building tanks anymore. This is because the game is a more damage-oriented meta. Of course I am the worst at providing examples. This is my attempt at it. Imagine if you can engage or cc the enemy, and you have used everything. Two scenarios for will occur for tank items or damage( ap for tanks). The first one is you use your spell rotation, and you only chunked 40% of the enemy's health. As compared to the damage items, which allow you do chunk about 70- 80% of their health. Now imagine you are playing amumu, and you hit everything on your target. I rather build damage items rather than sticking on the enemy, hoping my team would back me up.
So
much
CC
I mean death _ is_ a fuck ton of CC.
