why is every incarnation of ryze complete aids?

we at riot worked hard at ryze #234654 rework to solidify his gameplay fantasy as a complete fucking disease.

My favorite part about Ryze is how the reworks struggle to maintain his "core identity" by keeping all parts of his kit intact (point and click root, conditional AOE, move speed boost, a shield, etc) while also adding new mechanics each time. And then the next rework keeps the new stuff while adding even more.

I figure next rework they'll add the teleport in to his passive too.

His e doesn't make it auto target for him... what are you talking about.

when he hits an enemy with his q who is affected by his e debuff, the damage spreads to every other nearby enemy unit with the debuff.

means he just spams e on your minion wave until it happens to spread to you. then he throws his q into the wave and hits you aswell.

so yea, it pretty much autotargets for him.

No, that's not that good of an item on Ryze. Morellonomicon is better. I have not built Frozen Heart on him since Season 4. His mana scalings get lowered every time.

bt its not a skillshot, if he can just spam his e to spread the debuff, and his q hits every unit affected by the e.

he doesnt have to target his q, since he can just hit any unit affected by the debuff. basically he just spams e until you get the debuff and then throws his q into the minion wave to poke at you and waveclear.

its not the fact that you cant play around his abilities. because you can. its just that he can do this every couple of seconds.

Tank Ryze just sets back his scalings. You need a lot of AP and mana and cdr.

Name another mage who has all damaging abilities scaling onto mana? Kassadin has 2 abilities.

Ryze is unique as hell.

God I'd love a game mode where we can go back to a season of updates to enjoy Old broken metas that made it cancer to play against if done right.
