Question. Why does vayne have BASE true damage AND PERCENT true damage.

Today I was considering getting Vayne (desperate times call for desperate measures, need to get to gold ).

I was looking at her stats on the wiki and I realized that not only does her w give **Percent **MAX True Damage but it also has BASE true damage. That's completely unnecessary.

Vayne is suppose to be a tank buster, so whats the purpose of making her effective vs squishy champions? The base true damage helps her way more than it should vs squishy champions which I believe could be the root of her problem, which is shes good against everyone the moment she gets her cutlass.

I suggest in the marksmen updates they take this away.

I don't know why everyone thinks she's supposed to exclusively be a tank buster? She's supposed to be a hunter. She assassinates squishies and relentlessly pursues tanks to their deaths.

She's actually weak when the support meta is right If Riot would just buff Poke support numbers she'd be in a much less viable meta. She's just in a favorable meta and everyone hates the fact that the meta likes her.

Sona would be one of the first supports that could be buffed in order to indirectly nerf vayne.

It's not just sona, it's more that Tank supports need to be reigned in a bit. The Relic Shield that allows them to overcome being poked down is the major issue currently, along with the weak state of the spellthiefs edge. If Tank supports went back to having very weak lvl 1-3, supports with poke that is cheap and fairly low in cd, so sona, karma, and zyra, would be a fair counter again. Making it so that tanks are weak to being poked, but over come sustain lanes, sustain beats poke, but is weak to engage comps, and engage comps should be weak to being kept low by poke champs, and should overwhelm sustain comps. it really comes down to the meta around Vayne, and not vayne herself.
