Actually it's a waste of 400g as a tradeoff for 20% CDR, 90 Armor and a 15% AS Debuff Aura which also stacks with Randuin's Omen which also happens to be my next item. As such, the amount of extra CC I will be able to get off due to the large amount of CDR it provides, combined with the AS Reduction Debuff from the two items, my build is completely justified and will render their all-AD comp fairly useless. Not to mention that I'm a Platinum II, Level 5 Zac with a 75% Win Rate in Ranked on the Champion.

I'm not going to compromise my Tankiness or preferred play style because you don't approve of my build.

malphite already has a frozen heart, so its really just for the cdr and mana then

Another armor item would have been much more helpful for Zac. His CDs are already short enough as is.

This might just be my opinion, but full ad teams do have the potential to work. It's just taht everyone who wants to do damage basically have to build either 3 armor pen items like riven, or 2 armor pen items and blade like siver. (Although siver should have build a BF item before another armor pen item)

Plus shyvana actually does a considerable amount of magic damage, and had sunfire cape which helped.

Mana is a misleading stat when it comes to cost effectiveness as mana is worthless unless you used it all up before backing, because that mana has transfered damage onto the enemy.

Lets say you are Malphite you have backed off from toplane lv 18 and your waiting in base with TP and homeguards.

Realistically you wont ever use up all that mana in the teamfight or activities afterwards when your level 18 and have Frozen heart.

The same could be said for Zac, because he never uses the mana.

So in the end the only stats that matter are the armour + passive + cdr

Tough you could perhaps have bought like deadmansplate or something since he scales well with hp and you guys seemed to have won hard so you could have probably even built a damaging HP/AP item.
