Best way to defend against Fizz post 6 as an immobile champ?

Honestly is there a better way to deal with him while flash is down once he hits 6? I can stomp him in lane early on, but all he ends up doing is landing an ult and getting back into the game with a kill. He's pretty ridiculous with how easily he can make a come back in lane and start tower diving you.
