Can Ezreals E stop taking precedence over every other ability in the game

Seriously I've seen Ez get hit by just about every CC ability in the game and get out of all of them by timing his E to override the CC effect.

Cool for the Ez player but toxic AF for anyone who actually lands a skillshot against him

his name is EZ. they are supposed to make it "easy" for him to win.

Ez main here...No.

Considering that it is the most delayed blink in the game, which means that even if used very quickly it can't usually avoid the damage of a skillshot, there is a reason it can't be interrupted. Ezreal still gets hit by the cc, it just don't stop his movement.

but he doesnt

ive hit him with a poppy e into wall, poppy ult, blitz grab, naut hook, ahri charm, etc but when ez teleports during his e, he is uneffected by the cc that just hit him

No, that isn't how it works. He still gets hit and affected by the cc. If he isn't applying the effect to him then that is a bug, not intended gameplay.

it does not apply the CC effect until the cast is over. all if you are "casting" a spell you are immune to cc channels can be interupted. but casts cannot

the CC will still take effect the instant it hits, but it wont stop the casting

i dont know you can find a table of skill cast times, (i had no luck on google myself)

but most cast times are either instant of VERY short

with the longest ones being trist rocket jump ez arcane shift at .25 seconds

and notably lux ulti at .5 second, and ez ulti at 1 second

which is why you can blitz pull lux or ez out of their ulti but it still fires from where they were standing

during these (like all casting) you are immune to cc (or rather more percisely, the will continue THRU the the CC)

the only way to STOP a cast is to KO them, (or at least i know you can stop lux' ulti if you KO her during the .5 second cast time)

like i said earlier though .. arcane shift and rocket jump are coded as "cast times" not "channel times" and therefore they cannot be interupted.

it not a "BUG" becuase that really isn't the correct term as it is doing exactly what it is coded to do.. but it IS coded incorrectly. as it should be considered a "channel" not a "cast"

Yes but after their cast time then they should still be cc'd. If I say, Elise cocoon Ez as he Arcane shifts, and cocoon stuns for 2 seconds max rank, then after the .25 sec cast he moves, and is still stunned for 1.75 seconds. That is why I said that he is still hit and affected by the cc and if that isn't happening then it is a bug.

I made it pretty clear over my 2 comments that I understand this. My last sentence of my second comment was saying that if the OP was saying that they (for example) hit Ezreal with Elise cocoon and after Ezreal's blink finished he wasn't still stunned for 1.75 seconds then that is a bug, since the OP was saying that that was what was happening in reply to my first comment.

So yes, if what the OP was complaining about is true then that is a bug because Ezreal should still be influenced by cc after his shift.

You have to hit him before he presses E. :P

the same thing happens with trist rocket jump. although at least trist can be CCed during the leap itself.. just not the cast. this is becuase casted a spell is uninterruptible... but the channel can be interupted.

to fix this i think they need to replace the "cast" with these spells with a "channel"

Flaying Tristanas out of jump never gets old.

Look at all the downvotes on a perfectly legit thread

Technically, although very hard to reproduce, all dashes work like this. There are only very few channeled dashes and even they can be made to act like this if you hit the cc at just the right time. So why should ez not have a channel time instead of cast time? Well the other question could be: why should ez have a longer than average cast time?

You see escapes like his blink are meant to be reactionary so having a delayed escape is already very bad compared to an instant escape (think flash). If we change it so it is a channel then we also remove part of it that makes it reactionary, since you have to predict the cc before it is even fired as the channel is so long.
