trynd/nasus to me and alot of players are what shaco is to a new player, except there is no real way to deal with trynd and potentialy nasus. "just ignite just exhaust wait for hes ult to go down before you fight him." so wait for him to press R by accident? i dont always lose to trynd, he eventualy auto wins.
any downvotes means that there is another champ far more bullshit then trynd, so think before you downvote.

you can make a smurf and play Aatrox and do the exact same thing. Trynd is not seen that often in high elo for a reason. He is nothing more than a pubstomper, he sucks at everything else. Learn how to deal with him and watch as he becomes completely worthless. Trynd is so easily shut down and it's not his fault that you decided to let him splitpush you to death while you are sticking a thumb up your ass doing nothing but walk in circles

I'll take you at your word but still how often do you really see a Tryn in your game? I've maybe met one exceptional tryn ever and most of the better ones are usually shut down with some CC root/knock up/bind. I do play a lot of Nasus and Shen though and generally have no trouble keeping up against Tryn. Never tried it but I am sure Malphite, Rammus or Nautilus would be good picks against him as well. If your jungler isn't a banana then Tryn should be relatively easy to gank and shut down.
Edit: Honestly though any champ like Tryn who can get one kill and just become unstoppable all game is BS when you think about it. No one is perfect but one mistake should not haunt you the whole game. Tryn, Fiora, Jax and Kayle are some of the worst offenders of this. So after rereading I kind of get what you are saying.

As ZephyrDrake said, there are no(few) Trynds in high elo. That's cuz simple champions have simple counters.

I don't need to think for more than half a second to get 10 champions that are more bullshit than trynd. The whole competitive roster for starters. All the adcs. Mmmh. Actually most of the champion pool.
Ravenous Howls1 votesOr you could pick Shen vs Tryn? He's got AA denial with his Spirit Refuge which will destroy Tryns DPS and cits. Shadow Dash can taunt him under tower if he dives you with ult, reducing his damage an ensuring he takes more turret shots than he wants. Also Shen's passive gives him a ton of effective health and denies his ability to chunk you. Take TP to come back and stop his split push. Honesty Tryn was only good when Warlords healed off crits at the beginning of the season. He's pretty meh right now and easily countered.
Nasus is always good regardless of what people say. If you have any sense of wave management then you will probably always come out ahead of the lane phase as Nasus.
