Does Yasuo really have a weak early game like everyone says?

This is not a complain against Yasuo, I am just curious to know why everyone says that Yasuo's early game is weak.

From my experience, this isn't really true. Yasuo actually has a strong early game during the first three or four levels. For example, often I use two champions against Yasuo: Vladimir and Cho'Gath. With both of them, I have to play safe during early game.

With Vladimir, I have to start item 1029 + 5 item 2003 and play safe until I buy a item 3145, else Yasuo can all-in and kill me. It's hard to poke Yasuo because Vlad's E cost a lot of health and his passive shield can block Q's damage, and it doesn't offer enough sustain during the early game.

With Chogath, I just have to play safe until level 4, where I can really start to beat and outsustain Yasuo. Without all his abilities, it is difficult for Cho to do anything against Yasuo, but once he has abilities and items, there is nothing that Yasuo can do to kill or outsustain him.

I have the sabe problem with other champions, I will give two other examples of champions that are not considered to be counters to Yasuo:

With Diana; Once I laned against Yasuo as Diana, and the lane phase was hell. There was nothing that I could do against Yasuo. Farming was pretty hard as he could harass me and I couldn't harass him in return due to his shield. The first 11 levels were a nightmare. However, with a couple of items (I remember that my build was something like item 3027 item 3157 item 3115) I could actually all-in Yasuo everytime I wanted, and just burst him down and kill him.

With Khazix; Just like Diana, lane phase was hell. However, with a couple of items, I could just all-in and burst down Yasuo. The difference is that I could only do that if he was isolated. I bought a item 3110 to be able to better 1x1 him, too (I bought Frozen Heart after I already have purchased damage items, of course).

Does Yasuo really have a weak early game like everyone says? Because everytime I go against him, I can't just poke or harass him like everyone says, this is actually fairly difficult due to his shield. Not to mention, with the mobility from his E, and the wind wall, it's almost impossible to land a skillshot on him, so I have to rely on targeted or AoE abilities.

However, once the lane phase ends, then Yasuo stops to be a problem unless he got fed early. He is destructive during teamfights, but is not difficult to kill or CC him during them.

Can somebody explain that?

no people just give him a weak early game by rushing shiv, which does nothing until it's completed the components are terrible early

Vladimir's early game is bad, indeed. The thing is that it's not that bad, but still, we can't say that Vlad has a strong early game - He has the tools needed to survive early, but unless he is against a champion with an even worse early game, such as Poppy or Akali, Vlad is hard pressed to do much during the early game. His cooldowns are long, he is squishy (Vlad only becomes tanky after items) and he does not have any spellvamp. You need to survive the first levels, then purchase a Hextech Revolver - then, and only then, proceed to outsustain your opponent and outscale them.

Yasuo has a weak early game, it doesn't matter what you think because you don't know how to play the game properly. Why would you use Transfusion when Yasuo has his shield ready!? AA, wait, then Transfusion.
