How does one Evelynn in S6?

After a long absence of playing Evelynn, and I do mean long when I say long, I came back to playing her and got utterly wrecked.

The most obvious conclusion was that after all the changes, and nerfs, I no longer have any idea on how to play this champ. So.. I turn unto you for aid, LoLBoards. And I hope you don't screw me over with fake advice.

What Masteries and Keystones are good on Eve? What items are good on her?

well, she feels rather weak currently - though she still can heavily snowball against teams not used to playing against her. With runeglaive she clears fairly fast, but her sustain is meh and she´s very fragile...still better than going tanky though, as you need a good flank to work out anyway... for masteries i´d recommend thunderlords.

With so many people talking about "Evelynn sucks" or "Evelynn is unplayable" I'm seriously thinking of making a guide on YouTube.

Evelynn is still very good. She took a couple of hits, but Thunderlord's Decree and Hunter's Potion both more than make up for what she lost.

I think Evelynn is mostly fine, people just aren't adapting very well to the preseason changes. She definitely seems to have a rougher first clear, and the increased price/nerfed AP on runeglaive delayed her powerspike, but her pressure and ganks are still awesome. You have to adapt to the role you need to be playing in your team a bit more now. Be it as an assassin, or more of a tanky initiater/fighter.

Vision has been a doubled-edged sword - green wards are less prevalent as the totem was nerfed and sight wards are gone, so there is less warding Eve's camps to keep track of her, but people are buying pinks a lot more.

Masteries: 12/18/0, pretty much always - with Thunderlord's decree - gives you some nice extra burst.

Damage items: item 1402item 3020item 3001item 3157item 3116item 3089item 3135item 3285

Notes: Abyssal got 200g cheaper (so cheap wtf) so it's really great vs magic dmg. Some people like Rylai's as you can re-apply it really nicely with Q and it gives you some tankiness, some people hate it lol. Runeglaive + Rylai/Abyssal into tanky items is pretty good imo.

Tanky items: item 3742item 3110item 3143item 3102

Notes: all decent options, good to mix and match with damage items.

And buy this item 2032, helps a lot with your early sustain, which can be rough.

You basically don't. Good luck finding a place for her though.

Just saying. To all the people saying she is bad. I have this one friend that does the exact same thing each game: He asks the bot lane for leash on blue AND gromp. Then goes over to the enemy buff (btw, he uses ignite and smite), just when they are low enough doing the buff, he e, q, ignites and gg.. first blood. Every game I see him play he one shots people. This just proves that Eve is not UP, u just need to know how to play her. (This works in ranked most of the time as well, in high elo coz they cannot afford pink wards this early). Hope this helped.

dont finish runic echos right away and opt for hextech revolver first. its proc dmg is much higher then runic echos and gives you an early game dmg spike for ganking the adc or midlaner when stacked with thunderlords. at this time u can choose to get runic echos or opt for the sheen. also tank eve i hear is rly good with the right team. the basic iceborn sunfire build but rushing hextech gunblade first for early dmg. finish out with deadmans plate and abysall scepter or void staff and u should be golden.
