So I've been playing Xin Zhao but haven't been having much success with him. Before his rework He was was one of the few champions I'd use to climb to and up in platinum but now a days I just struggle to do ok. He's not the same heal demon I remember but I still wanna play him so, my fellow summoners do any of you got any tips or idea on what makes Xin so strong cause apart from his lvl 2 ganking I just don't see it.
MalrothDragonia2 votesHail of Blades gives him a TON of early dueling potential, making his knock-up almost guaranteed earlier than otherwise. It makes it very hard to contest your jungle without committing a lot of team resources, which can allow you to make plays elsewhere.
MLDzXnRRR2 votesIt's like before - you have to gank and make your team strong, finishing on time... Xin was never a good champ. Now your ganks are a little better, because of the ranged W. The 1v1 potential is lower. You are basically an early ganker that becomes useless outside of a good ult blocking something big ult for his team...
Frontline Fury2 votesHis W procs and benefits from his passive. He is extremely weak against armor but extremely strong otherwise. His passive scales with his total attack damage. His ult deals %current health bonus damage, providing him with protection from ranged attacks/dots and a second hard CC effect in an AoE.
I used to main him before his rework. He is even more item dependent than before and is practically forced to build very tanky to actually play the game longer than 15 minutes.
His W is the only spell worth leveling up, and the difference between success and failure.

I really miss old Xin and how he'd heal off anything but with the changes I feel you're with out a doubt right about being forced to go full tank for viability also I had no idea how important the w max is! I've been too accustomed to his old kit so I just maxed it like I would old. thanx for the help guys :3

W max should help a lot. Personally i prefer leveling W-Q-R-E to the max level. (But for jungling, you still start E-Q-W at levels 1-2-3. Important!)
