I've never had this happen before (that's what he said), especially at this elo (currently Gold 5 because I was placed Silver and have to climb to my last-season rank). I could win, and then be whoever I want for the 2nd game, meta/non-meta, 20-1, and we'll still lose because that's how the games have been going for 10+ games. I'm not blaming my team, I'm sure I could play better too but this is getting ridiculous. It's like Russian Roulette except every other bullet in the chamber is the shot.

I'm sure people are gonna downvote this because they seem to downvote any post I make...but this is getting silly/had to vent. shrug

I've won more than 20 games in a row before and lost like 14 despite doing well in most of the games. It's RNG, stop reading too much into it.

What about the games where you didnt deserve to win, but your team carried you so you won anyway.

I feel ya. I'm plat 3 in flex and wanted to climb to Diamond. For like 10 games I had 50% winrate, it's frustrating

If you're sitting around a 50% winrate, then ideally matchmaking is doing its job and you're at the spot where you currently deserve to be.

At this point, you should take a step back and evaluate what it is you need to do to improve yourself. Whether it's warding more so that your team has more vision and less excuses about getting ganged unawares, or taking the lead to push for objectives, discover something that will push you even further beyond that can be taken into every game moving forward.

This was happening to me as well back in season 3. No matter how hard I try, I just couldn't get out of gold V. I always blamed other lane for feeding or picking off meta champs. Now I think about it, I was just not good enough. If you place a diamond player in silver or gold, he will have no problem climbing out of that elo. He just have more experience and skill comparing to other player in that tier. My suggestion is take a break from league, watch some guide, try to improve your understanding of the game and focus on 1 or 2 champion. Hope you reach the tier you want soon !

This means that Riot's matchmaking works well. Aka one game your team gets the ret... I mean monkeys, the next game, the enemy gets them.
