...but I see no one offering up solutions.

I am legitimately curious as to what people want in regards to solving the issue of smurfing. Please tell me; inquiring minds want to know.

I think if you just have insane performance/winrates should be deemed as smurfs.

Now before you all go "LUL RIOT'S GONNA BAN PEOPLE FOR PLAYING WELL NICE TRY", People who consistently have a crazy win rate and super high KDA's over tons of games clearly aren't just your average player doing well.

Obviously there are a lot of factors that Riot would have to take into consideration, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know when some accounts are smurfs, especially if they make it obvious.

I had nearly a 70% winrate from silver placements to diamond 3 promos (~d1 mmr, I was regularly playing master-challenger players) after being gold for 3 years with around a 4 kda. It is amazing what people can do when they actually try to improve.

Add a report option for smurfing. System hits playesr who blatently claim LOL IM A SMURF BITCHES and then do onsidedly well. Not a great solution but hey its something.

Its not that riot doesnt have a way to stop smurfing at all, its that they will be deleting half of their active accounts if they do.

Can League of Legends Client see what hardware you're using to run it? That would provide useful data for catching smurfs.

Honestly I don't mind smurfs. If people had the right attitude, they'd teach players to play better than their elo by figuring out how to play versus them, which helps them climb elos faster.

They only suck when your team is incapable of taking advice, being cautious, and rage grief after they feed rather than solving the problem.

I like my post game convos with smurfs after I'm the only person on my team who counters them....
