I'm taking a break, because damage is way too high
I'm not leaving the game ... I think i've invested too much into League of Legends to permanently leave. However, this game isn't fun anymore for the time being. What fun is there to have, when everything dies so fast. One minor mistake, or one bad trade means you're likely going to lose your lane now.

with her W, something's up. It's not like massive damage, but there's no way an enchanter should be able to hurt a tank the way she did. Keep in mind, I don't mind losing. Someone HAS to lose, it's a competitive game. But it's HOW people lose games now a days that is starting to hurt my interest in League.
It's not fair when the enemy team is ahead, does well, but one misplay (or one bad teamfight), our
gets a quadra and now they lose the game because we can just tank towers and kill them without super minions (no need for baron when towers are squishy as hell). Winning games aren't fun because it always feels like someone's ganna get stomped. I can't remember the last time I had a 40+ minute game ... they all end around 20 if that. Some games may end up around 30ish minutes, but that's if we're lucky or people are throwing while in the lead. There's no more strategy involved, no more drawn out tense fights. The moment you lose some of your HP in a first trade, you're ganna likely die. I didn't get into League to see who could burst the hardest ... I played because it had variety of play styles. I love, LOVE
because she was a great tank with good cc, and a unique look. Now? I can't tank for shit .... literally bursted down even with armor / magic resist items. Sure i'm not a true tank, but even true tanks can't deal with most damage now, and they also deal a lot of damage too which will eventually make them the opposite of tanks. I just want my League back, and until Riot fixes this ... i'm going to play games that actually cares about the roles.
TL;DR VERSION
I don't find "Who kills who faster" a fun mechanic. This whole meta revolves around burst, where team fights don't even last 10 seconds. Tanks don't do their jobs well because of it, and tanks shouldn't deal massive damage either, since they're tanks. This meta is making me take a break from League.
EDIT: I'm Plat IV, about to hit Plat III .... so it's not a low elo problem. This is happening throughout Diamond and more, with damage making the game end too quickly which is going to make a lot of people leave out of frustration.
