Tips for a new Vayne?

So I decided to try Vayne just because I felt that mid was getting a tad boring. I started her off in bots and just felt how she played and stuff like that. I then decided to go into a normal draft game just to see how bad I was against actual people. I did fucking horrible but I still felt like she was super fun to play.

This is my first ADC champion that I'm trying and I really do want to learn how to be efficient with her. Are there any tips to start off with as a Vayne or ADC in general? I'm in unfamiliar territory down in the botlane and it's really quite confusing for me right now lol. Like how do I play with a support? I'm so used to just chilling by myself at mid or top, but with another person there it's quite interesting.

Anything helps, thank you! :D

shes probably not the champion you want to learn ADC on, but here

item 3031 item 3087 is your core build, with these two items you already deal obscene damage

While your kit feels like you should start fights or go balls deep into the enemy team, you shouldn't. Vayne does especially well in 1v1 situations, so she can be a good splitpusher. She's one of the few ADCs that can actually duel assassins and the like

In teamfights, you want to wait for people to drop their ults and big damage/cc spells before you commit, because you are extremely easy to lock down and kill as a squishy short range ADC

As with all ADCs it's recommended you stay back and hit their frontline at the start of fights

And the only ADC that consistently tries but fails at doing so, forgetting about basic stuff like vision and map awareness.

Ironically being support main, adc is my least favorable role, as I have no idea what my support is like. The only advice I want to give you: if you see your support going in-- please be ready to follow up, even if you are Vayne. And don't forget to use your heal to save allies.

Dump her and get one of these: Tristana Ashe Ezreal Jinx Sivir With all due seriousness, Vayne is not a good "starting" ADC. ~Trist, Ashe, and Sivir are very inexpensive ADCs, the former being 1350 and last two being 450 ~Trist and EZ have escapes ~EZ and Ashe have good kiting, and so could Jinx with practice ~Jinx, Ashe and EZ have global ults that can lead to awesome snipes ~EZ, Jinx and Sivir have skillshot pokes And these are just a few reasons. Vayne is typically banned in draft picks and frowned upon by some. Plus, she's very dependent on snowballing, is rather shortranged, and very squishy.

Play safe in laning phase, don't greed for kills, you're vayne, you scale stupidly well. You don't need to get hyper fed in lane(though do so if you're able to) max q first, you want the mobility, it's super helpful for dodging skillshots and it increases your damage a lot.

Get use to dying alot... and losing. Till you either get really good with vayne, or switch to a more straight forward adc. She's very high risk high reward.

The two most iconic players of Vayne, Dlift and Gosu, should have quite a few guides.

Don't focus on cs, just champions.
