Autofill always on ?

I've noticed in that last week or so that autofill is always on. Can someone explain why ?

It used to be on once in a blue moon.

Too many people are selecting mid top to test out the assassins or play some of the OPs. Once the assassin flair goes down, auto fill will be rarer.

So it has nothing to do with the two ranked queues being up at the same time ? To be honest, it started when they re-enabled Solo/Duo. I was thinking that could be the cause.

The assassin update came out around the same time so you could be right.

Oh, that may be a reason too, but the assassin update is a large cause as well.

It is only off during Promos because everyone is using mid as their secondary in order to attempt to get their main pick, causing autofill to work overtime to stop queue issues.

It's a quick thing to see if you are in autofill, when autofill is on you see que time 5 min, but you be in a game quick, if the que time is not 5:00 but lets say 3:20, you know you'r not in autofill. so when the que timer says 5min, just leave que and start new one, but it says it's always on.

Ok, I was re-reading the 6.23 patch notes and it seems that I missed the part where they talk about auto fill. According to the patch notes, auto-fill has been permanently enabled. So I got the answer to my question.
