There are significantly better junglers... Which lane do u take the champ to? He has really bad matchups in the botlane. Almost every other support outdo him. With champions with ranged abilities at Top, u can't make a case for Top Teemo too.
He is a support that excels at and is pretty oppressive on AD melee champs but a bad carry.
Duo Support Top or Mid I'd say.. Rito... why did u design a champ like that?

Melee tanks just want to stack armour for late game, so he does magic damage to force them to build MR or lose lane
He gets his lead in lane, lays bombs everywhere, pops out of stealth and bursts squishies
You can definitely find success with Teemo if you understand him and pick him in the right situations

How about there is no such thing as a Melee Tank now in this meta? ... Not at top.. not anywhere else. We're seeing 75% ranged champs at top and the rest burst Bruisers.
So which lane should u consistently take Teemo to? You're not answering the question.

But he is bad at top in the current meta vs almost 80% of the matchups. Try playing him. And he is a terrible carry but a decent support.

Teemo top is good for soloq right now
fact is they're doing something else to carry the game... not simply being the top carry n killing others. Dude I main top and I can think of so many champions that make it not good to bring Teemo there.
the current iteration of his R skill basically relegates him to a support role too.
Have u been up on top lane lately? It is a total mess there and u'll most likely get a ranged opponent. And that is not good for Teemo.

I don't recommend watching TRM. I used to be a big fan of his, but his playstyle and build are troll-ish(not ideal for someone who wants good results) and I don't think he plays that often anymore after he got banned. His old videos are quality but they are from a meta where melee champions were actually melee and did not have overloaded kits.

The examples u gave are streamers trying to make a name playing something different. I do not agree with anyone who says Teemo is something other than a Support. Jungler maybe? but that is debatable as well - I personally havent tried it. What are his clear time and gank potential? His whole ganking is to drop shrooms on a lane in preparation for the enemy to step on them for initiation? Surely he cant waltzed into a lane to gank? He will get jumped on!
I feel that Teemo has a support-ish skill set ... with the stealth and shrooms. Yet u have no examples of a Support Teemo. I would believe because he is pretty bad in bot lane.
C'mon, there are much better junglers, Top laners that does what Teemo does. Twitch in jungle has better stealth... Lucian Kennen are better ranged laners than Teemo could ever be... Tank Teemo = there are better tanks!

Yes ... His skillset is lacking for the purpose of carrying. Most importantly his R u can throw a mushroom at an enemy while engaging him but it's not a guaranteed hit given its range. Also I believe its lower dps than just AAing the opponent.
