Poison clarity

So a good while back, a short while after Cassiopeia had been updated I had talked about things that I felt were important QoL changes to Cass and poison users as a whole.

One of the main ones I had discussed was poison clarity. Here is my exact Quote:

ONE THING I THINK NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. This is very serious and I think you really need to look into it Stashu, I'll make an entire thread on it if I have to. Is the clarity of targets that are poisoned. In big teamfights I feel it needs to be necessary that targets that Cass has poisoned are actually poisoned. Like some times I'm finding myself mashing Q and trying to spam E and sometimes I can't tell if my Q actually landed or if I'm about to hit a target with twin fang and put my E on cooldown.

I was responded to by a Rioter, Riot Stashu, and here was his response:

There's actually a thread on this (well, poison indicators in general) right now that's gaining some traction, and it's something that we'd definitely like to do. Totally agree that it would go a long way, the current particles are just not up to par with the clarity bar we've established over the past few years.

I went looking for the thread he mentioned and never ended up finding it. It wasn't a top priority for me at the time so I sort of brushed it under the rug since it wasn't that big a deal.

Fast forward to today and poison clarity has still not been updated. So I'm posting this thread to try and resolve that and offer what I feel would be a reasonable solution WITH PICTURES! :D

Here is the current poison indicator: https://i.imgur.com/ImopLoP.png It's very subtle and hard to spot in big teamfights.

Now my personal proposition is that poisoned targets are fully highlighted purple when poisoned. I got the idea from the animation for the move "Toxic" on Pokemon Stadium shown here: https://i.imgur.com/WyrscB7.png This would add a lot of clarity to poison and I think it would be healthy for poison based champions as well as their opponents.

Thank you for taking the time to read through and I hope we can find a way to resolve this.

EDIT: I was hoping we could get a Rioter's opinion on this as well if possible.

No, because if there would be multiple champions poisoned in one teamfight it would REALLY hurt clarity instead of helping it.

I think they should probably only turn purple for the player that is Cassiopeia since it's only for her really important. I don't think it's important enough for other players to have such drastic effect. I'm not sure if it's worth it, because I assume that veteran Cassio players already got used to the current visuals. It would make her slightly easier to pick up for other players, though. (Would be great for me when I get her in ARAM)

I think just adding a purple tint to the poisoned champion (sorta like in the pokemon stadium screenshot, but more pronounced) would work just nicely. Perhaps a little skull icon somewhere would also be nice.

Making entire champion purple against champions who can poison for long period of times kills both point of skins/chromas (not going to enjoy it If you're permanently purple) and clarity, since while you will know who's poisoned, it may be hard for others to recognize who is who.

But gameplay over aesthetics and recognition is individual problem mostly (If the purple hue won't be significant, since the sillhuets are usually different, this shouldn't be that much of a problem), so If this would help majority and majority wouldn't have problem with it, I don't have one either.

I wish the toxin duration would be clearer. I've actually died to this once.

Rather than changing champion colors, you could add a dotted line towards poisoned champions like Yasuo's ult.

For now I would just recommend grabbing rylias. Think of it as a small bonus effect of visual notifications unique to poison champs. Big teamfights shouldn't happen often before then.
