Old quicksilver sash

Any chance we could get that back?

I’m failing to see why it was removed in the first place. (Other than the lc$ reasons)

If you're talking about the version from 6.8 (and below) that let you cleanse all debuffs instead of just CC debuffs, that was removed because it was too potent for a 1,300 gold item. It single handedly invalidated Zed and a whole host of other champion's and is still very strong when used correctly.

Lissandra, Malzahar, and some other champions basically don't have an ultimate when this item is in the game lol

This in a nutshell.

Okay. It invalidated zed. So why is it okay for it to make liss malz, ww, varus, Ashe, Insert list of champions with cc based ultimates absolutely worthless?

And fine. Tie it to merc scim then. Then it’s a 3k+ gold item that allows zed to not instant delete people.

That's what I was trying to say with the last sentence, my bad because I worded it improperly.

If it was up to me, I'd probably just rework or remove this item entirely (along with Mercurial Scimitar) because in a lot of cases, CC is the only thing that can deal with certain champions. (Yasuo, Yi, etc.)

When CC is taken out of the equation, it invalidates a lot of counterplay and makes it much harder to survive. An example would be when Yasuo builds QSS into Lissandra, not only does Lissandra deal less damage because of the MR, but her ultimate is basically useless since it will never work against Yasuo again.

Basically, for 1,300G it's too potent of an item and while it's better now, I still don't think it's healthy

So why is no one removing Zhonyas then? Karthus and Zed have both a lot of fun vs them.

Using Zhonyas Hourglass means you can’t move for 2.5 seconds. A coordinated player can time skillshots to land as soon as the stasis wears off. QSS you could continue moving after using it, obviously.

For what it's worth I don't think Zhonyas is the healthiest item either (since that can block everything) but I do think the stasis can be a death sentence most of the time. With smart focusing you can easily kill someone in Zhonyas whereas QSS is a lot harder to capitalize on.

Example: If your Malzahar hit a Flash-Ult on the enemy ADC, they'd just pop QSS and escape before anyone else on your team could even react :p
