Void staff is ridiculously overpowered

Like wow, i just played a game against a full ap team and they all build it, i stacked MR as and even with maw shield and my W activated i would die in like a second, while having 3k+ hp and 200 mr on top of 40% DR and the maw shield, one would think stacking MR would counter a full ap team but not, void staff counters full MR build isntead for 2700 gold lmao.

Like it needs to cost as much as deathcap if its going to completely invalidate MR, mage itemization is out of control.

It’s overpowered compared to defensive items, but about as strong as stuff like Conqueror and Infinity Edge. It’s how magic damage outscales magic resist.

IE is much, much worse than void, and so is LW.

Arpen itemization is a joke compared to mpen.

Conqueror is the only good source of armor pen (pseudo source that is with the true damage) and it obviously its kind of game warping on itself (since it costs 0 gold), but void is also a huge problem that riot is ignoring, its just way too good in every way, its good against every champion, its cheap, its easy to build, like the item has no weakness.

Being disingenuous much like why are you comparing to things that is should never be compared to you can only compare it to LW items since they both fill the same role to reduce MR or armor by a % amount like you never build ie for the true damage part it mostly for the crit and ad and conquer is a keystone like wtf and it is not good on the majority of ad champions whereas void is good on the majority of champions so you're also wrong.

Let's assume it's overpowered ( it's not )

At the very least it's a glass item and literally only built for damage , and it's not enough to power spike For this item to be effectively good , it needs to be built 3rd or 4th item so it's even worth complaining about it

Like seriously who can buy 4 items in this meta ? You need to be extremely delusional to think this item is OP.

No, it doesn´t. Void Staff isn´t even a problem.

mage itemization is out of control.

Mage itemization currently have two problems. Lost Chapter getting rid of one mage weakness, and lots of CDR on core items, getting rid of another mage weakness. Literally every other item, including Void Staff and Rabadon's, are fine.

On a somewhat related subject, full AD comps with even one Conqueror user completely invalidate champions meant to counter full AD comps. And what does that Conqueror user have to spend in gold to get that? Zero.

If void staff is truly that overpowered, go 5 ap team comp and all build void staff and see what you're going to do against a tank with merc treads, adaptive helm and spirit visage.

Contrast that with a 5 ad team comp that will shred any tank even if they build full armor.

That is exacty what happened to me lmao, full ap they all get void staff they all shit stomp.

Did you not read the thread? Void is broken, the point is that if you stack mr you shouldnt be getting deleted in under a second,as a bruiser with a lifesteal/mr heavy build (the supposed counter to mages) should absolutely not be getting blownup that hard vs a full ap team comp.

It is really sad that the posts here against void not being boken are mostly comparing it to a keystone and items that are not built to reduce protections like you should only compare void to the LW items like it is just sad to see like use real arguments.
