Melee fighters, Aatrox, DMC 2 Sparda mode
Most melee fighters have mobility and defenses for their close range combat. Aatrox doesn't.
Take into consideration that Aatrox relies heavily on AA's, and that's it. Below 50%HP his heal is great but... in this game it's rare the match where there aren't 2 CC or more, which all go into Aatrox for some reason (cc magnet). I'm not going to say +% tenacity the lower health he is, but ye...
Some ideas in order of preference,
- Whenever he gets to 20%HP he becomes invulnerable to CC for 3s.
- The more blood he has in his bloodwell the more tenacity he has, up to 60%.
- +% tenacity up to 60% when he's at 40%HP.
It would be a different gamestyle other then "CC counter's everything" erhm.. no it doesn't! :D not anymore. Nukes at low HP would counter him instead!
A long time ago, when I was playing Devil May Cry 2 I got really low health (2% or so) and when I triggered devil mode or whatever it was called, I turned into Sparda, it was fuckin awesome, OP as f*ck.
I'm bringing up DMC because I think that Aatrox was inspired by it, both his graphic and sound design transmit the hack n' slash feel.
I give to you, The Legendary Dark Knight Sparda,

, and
; stacking games may not always be a thing to be fond of, depending on how they work. Back to his issue of getting stunned, I was thinking if he weren't reliant specifically on auto attacks to get the sustain than he could be naturally tankier through base stats, thus a 1 second stun on him wouldn't mean the same thing it does currently. Right now, Aatrox is practically countered by everything in every role, and I believe it comes off the fact that Aatrox has snowball sustain.
