Aurelion Sol in LCS?

How come i never see Asol in any LCS games? I mean, i only watch EU and NA LCS but still he is never picked or banned or anything it's like he doesnt even exist. I have played one game with him and I liked him (which could possibly mean he is complete ass since i have next to no experience at all with him) and i also enjoy watching him on youtube as well. why is he so dead in pro play? he has like one of the highest win rates in korea right now, or at least he used to, so idk how or why it would change anything when referring to NA or EU. just let me know because im actually a tad confused lol

Because Azir, Orianna, Syndra, Cassiopeia and Galio Exist

so they’re all just better in the eyes of pro players?

They can bring more to the team right now and are pick/ban champs I've seen sol played in pro play and carried the game but he's a specialist type pick

They bring more instant impact in a fight and can get single picks faster.

This and the fact that Aurelion Sol is extremely exposed to both melees and long range makes him an unwanted champion.

You guys forgot Ryze which according to some casters is the number 1 contested pick.

Sol is powerful for what he does in a vacuum. He has great map pressure, decent DPS, and some minor zone control. The issue is his weaknesses. Very mana hungry to the point that you only get ROA on him for the most part and after that he pretty much needs every blue buff in order to not run dry. Limited range, is W on or off? Are they too close or too far? He can't double detonate Q so if his R is down he is extremely vulnerable. Somewhat squishy because low AP ratios means he gets pen so he builds more just AP/HP and no resistances. And his damage falls off because of his lower ratios. He's an early game beast that can snowball his team really hard. The issue is that in pro play teams aren't dumb enough to let him get fed and snowball. If the enemy all plays safe, he can't roam and make plays. And champions like Cass and Azir dumpster him in lane because he doesn't have and poke. He either commits to a long trade with W and Q or he doesn't interact.

Just pray to our beloved Huhi and he maybe plays Aurelion Sol, sad part is that they are not going to PlayOffs.

Maybe in Lpl someone plays him, but I can say for sure that in Lck he's not played.
