Worst Game I've Ever Experienced

EDIT: Why the downvotes? If you disagree and love top/mid, isn't it a good thing some people would rather play Support/Jungle/ADC? Lol.

I haven't solo laned in over 800 games. Was forced into one last game. I don't understand top/mid mains. I love League, and it's my favorite game, but I'd just about rather not play League at all than play top or mid. I'm fine with Support or ADC, and I main jungle.

I could be in a promo series and I'd rather dodge than play these two roles. I am glad there are a lot of you out there, because it keeps me the f*ck out of the miserable experience of playing these two.

That's how I feel about bot lane...

???? How is it possible to hate top and mid this much??? It's just you vs the opponent, and obviously be sure to avoid ganks. Bot lane unless you are duo qued you have to worry if you are on the same page with your partner, and jungle people complain if you don't gank enough.

Because I can't stand the roles. I don't know why. I REALLY prefer jungle or support, but I'm totally fine with ADCing. I just loathe the two solo lanes more than anything.

Thank God for people like you, keeping me out of bottom lane (I'm okay with jungling).

I hate going bot in ranked.

Playing bot lane comes down to communication and intuitive coordination with your lane partner. Playing jungle comes down to map awareness and decision-making. These roles are team-oriented, whereas solo lanes are not.

Solo lanes are all about numbers. You need to know exactly how much damage your abilities do to your opponent so you know exactly when to go all-in for the kill. You also need to know exactly how much damage your opponent's abilities do (and keep track of their cooldowns) so you know when you're in danger of being all-inned.

In short, the solo lane roles require more knowledge on champions and matchups than the other roles, but are less reliant on map awareness, communication and shot-calling. For the millions of players who primarily play Solo Queue, it's easier for them to learn the matchups and become comfortable with timing their all-ins than it is to learn how to look at the minimap and use that small amount of information to make a good decision about where to go and what to do.

I agree with you Troy, although I still try to play mid lane occasionally. I find that I'm happiest playing support or jungle and I can tolerate ADC. I end up miserable most of the time I play mid or top unless I have a very friendly and active jungler to help me get through the laning phase.

Although I know for me a huge part is a simple problem with reflexes. I'm not 18 and my reaction times are just too slow for me to easily take on someone in mid or top lane where any mistake can end with you hearing "You have been slain" from the computer.

People seem to call mid / top far more in my games than adc / supp. the fact that you havn't had to top or mid in the last 800 games kinda goes to show that. I've been forced into support multiple times in my last 100 games (compared to your 800), when adc / supp are my worst roles.

I like top / mid the best because i don't have to lane with someone that i don't know. Sometimes, it goes great... we stomp our lane together. Other times, we just have different play styles. I tend to be very aggressive, and sometimes they're very passive and pick supports like Janna. Then it feels like the lane is 1v2. Top and mid give me control over how the lane goes (outside of jungler ganks), so I prefer them. I don't like jungle that much because ganking tends to rely on your solo laners knowing what they're doing. If you have Morde and vlad in your lanes, and they're constantly pushed to tower, there isn't much you can do unless you want to wait around to counter the ganks.

I know how it feels. That's why I try to match my ADC as best I can.

Twitch picked? I'll lock Janna or Lulu; he probably wants to farm to be a beast end game, and this will help him get there in one piece then defend him so that he can do what rats do in teamfights.

Lucian? I'll use Ali, Thresh or Leona; you probably want to be aggressive want win lane.

Well, I know the feeling, except in reverse. I don't enjoy playing bottom lane. I don't like to rely on another person to be able to sorta read my thoughts to do well. I'm a top/mid main, and I just love the feeling of control and freedom.

As much as I dislike bottom lane, sometimes I have to play it. This is what teambuilder is for, I suppose.

That's one of my favorite parts. I know why it can suck, Hell I've landed a Ali combo that knocked up both the enemy ADC AND Support, and still had my ADC ignore it to continue CSing. However, I've found that if I explain politely certain things like "When I CC it's literally free harass," they usually start doing it.

When teamwork starts to come together, for me, it's more satisfying than a solo lane experience is.
