Could we have the ability to send a message along with a friend request?

I think it would be a nice addition. I don't like to add randos to my friends list so it would be nice if someone could send a short message with their request so I would know whether it was a friend or not. I'm probably not gonna know who xXWeebBlaster6969Xx is so if that person could send me a message like "Hey this is your weeb friend President Tryndamere" that would be pretty cool. It could be made so that you would have the option to turn it off if you didn't want the messages attached to them. Just a thought.

I'm pretty sure this just enables people to flame you. Instead of having to wait for you to accept their friend request, they can just send the flame with the friend request. This sounds good on paper, but it is an idea ultimately ruined by the community's capacity to take a good idea and turn it into a bad decision.

if the feature came with a report button next to the message, then I would love it. Apparently just like what others explained, toxic players will abuse it to flame others via buddy request.

I was in a game where three of my allies were flaming the fourth guy. And I tried the whole game to get them to settle the fuck down saying shit like 'calm down we got this'll I felt so bad after I added him just tell tell him he didn't play that bad. We duo qued a few times after and he was kinda cool. IDK what happened to him.
