Doesn't work when your team mates tell you that the disconnected person, the adc, had their PC crash and are 'trying to come back', but don't come back at all and the support goes afk too (comes back to 1v3 and feed one more time, then goes back to afk`ing). I'm sorry but the best internet cannot solve that issue.

And they refuse to remake because they are in a premade.

honestly I think it's bullshit a 4 man can prevent that. If I as the solo player decide that the 4 man premade's afk should be punished i should get the entire say period. They should not be able to just cover for their friend. Not to mention they can force a surrender vote even if I'm 10/0 or something.

The Deckowner12 votes

thr existance of 4 man premade in general is bullshit.

MonkeyMadness2 votes

Honestly, I think duoing is generally unhealthy, but I do occasionally enjoy playing with a friend so I'll compromise.

Supreme Senpai694 votes

I'd argue duo is fine but anything more is toxic, because anything more than two creates the majority. And being in a premade, they most likely share the same ideas and decisions. They sorta dictate how the game goes, if you win or if you lose, if you get inhib or baron, etc. And if the jungler is in that 3 man premade? Prepare for no ganks as they fruitlessly camp their friends' lane(s.)

It's not always like that but it's like that most of the time. Ironically, it makes me want to queue as a 3 man premade just so I won't have to deal with a 3 man premade on my team. And so the cancer spreads :[

MonkeyMadness2 votes

Ya I can get behind that. Although, when I do duo, I rarely gank my friend's lane. I have confidence that he won't feed, so I devote my attention elsewhere.

aspects11 votes

same but it could also be because he plays darius and is always pushed...

MonkeyMadness1 votes

Classic. You realize that if he wasn't your friend he'd be flaming you for not ganking, right? Assuming he subscribes to the same logic that 100% of top laners in this game do.

DeathToEcchi1 votes

As a top laner, I don't expect ganks except from the enemy jg. And I have to say that I've had more bad experiences with duos than larger groups. It could be because they're more common though. I have to yet to encounter any of these horrid, hypothetical situations that get thrown around on the forums. I do see a lot of duos that are pretty toxic cause they have a buddy to agree with them.

MonkeyMadness1 votes

Oh well the forums do make them out to be more common than they actually are, but if you have the displeasure of dealing with one you'll hop right on the DQ hate train.

Death and Doom1 votes

dude why r u like that, just cause u got matched with salty top laners doesnt mean we r all salty...

thats just mean

im sad now

dont be toxic for no reason.

Jimmyyy1 votes

This is the good thing about premades sometimes, if the jungler is getting carried by the laner they're with, they don't have to gank them. Like when I duo with my silver bud jungle main, I tell him to only gank me once if I ask for it. Otherwise, I want him helping other people because I'm confident in my ability to win my lane every game

Supreme Senpai691 votes

That's what I do. Ganks just mess me up because I feel forced to follow through even if it's bad, whereas I know I won't die if it's just a 1v1 or 2v2 lane. I might not get fed but I won't die. However, more often than not in my personal experiences, it's the exact opposite-- they have the mentality of "We have to carry because our team will suck" so they ignore every lane and give up dragons and map pressure, causing their team to suck, causing them to keep doing it

and a better computer

30fps vs 60fps is like dbz vs the matrix

MagicFlyingLlama2 votes

I dont think any computer made in the last 5 years can get 30 fps in league, unless something is very wrong with it.

CerealBoxOfDoom2 votes

you'd be surprised how many people have outdated computers and probably don't even realize it

Desolas Arterius3 votes

Had a cheap 400 dollar laptop I used to play league on. Got a measly 10-15 fps even on potato graphics. This laptop was 2011 model so it wasn't garbage. Just more of a notebook style :P Favorite memory was playing malphite on that toaster. Anytime I ulted the game would freeze at 0fps until the team fight was over. Always hilarious hearing my friends yell at me how I"m not moving or auto following enemies.

Finally built myself a tower after a few years. Run the game at a lovely 60-80 fps now~

Now if only I could reduce the ping :( RIP west coast Cox.

tophit1 votes

Been noticing fps drops rather recently, my brother got it when I upgraded the family PC to Windows 10, and I recently got the Anniversary update, though fps problems are pretty inconsistent. Most annoying thing? Had two hours to play League last night, first game I had the joy of a consistent ping of around 90, teamfights were over 200 (nothing running in the background, family not watching netflix, etc). It dropped back down to 19 eventually (after I restarted my PC, rejoined and played for about 10 mins) so either my IP is just trash (wouldnt be surprised) or someone was downloading something while in bed. Graves got fed in top lane with all its turrets gone, so that was fun.

Thankfully my snowbally Quinn combined with a powerful Teemo and Malzahar gave us the win, even though Graves was a little fed. It gave me no small amount of enjoyment when I constantly jumped on their Kata every time she tried to ult XD

Desolas Arterius1 votes

I've noticed my ping has been jumping randomly as well. I know it could just be because my fiance and I play at the same time (we live together and have separate gaming computers), so that could add to it. But it's just really weird how inconsistent the ping for us gets considering we play WoW and other Blizzard games and our ping is just fine. League I stay at 70 ping most of the time, but lately it's been jumping up to 100-120 randomly. Especially during team fights when 3 or more people group up.

Wondering if it's just league itself.

Only issue I get in WoW is that the game keeps freezing on me randomly. Most frustrating thing ever. But my ping and fps is absolutely perfect and runs like a dream~

tophit1 votes

This might be something that gets fixed with the new client. FPS issues are definitely something that shouldn't happen, especially if you have a gaming computer that's designed for it. Unfortunately ping issues are harder to pin down, but there are sometimes where it feels like regardless of anything I do, the ping just stays up.

GayFluffyUnicorn1 votes

I actually can't imagine 'murica to have that bad infrastructure ? I mean many of the greatest tech companies sit there? In germany for example i may have a good 50-60 ping (is actually good for germany no joke) but the most you get here is a 3-10k connection. They try to broaden high speed internet but so far only a few have access to 50k+.

Desolas Arterius1 votes

Depends where you're at. For league I get a standard 72 ping, though sometimes it'll jump to 100 randomly. I used to sit at 30-40 ping before Riot moved the NA server to Chicago, so that definitely tacked onto giving me an okay connection.

It also depends on where you live and what internet connection is available to you. Where I live Cox is the only thing that's good enough for me to play on. Google Fiber is available in our major cities, but I don't nor can't live there so getting the literal best connection is out of reach.

Cox is okay, but they aren't reliable nor always the best.

Just because we have some of the greatest tech companies doesn't mean we have the best infrastructure ;P Mostly because of competition between the market since Internet isn't free, and location. If you don't live in the major cities of your state, your internet is going to be subpar, or nonexistent really since not many companies see it profitable to expand connection to those remote or less populated areas.

Great Ozymandius2 votes

The problem is not the internet backbone (which is what the infrastructure is). We actually have a good internet backbone. The problem is at the point of access -- the ISPs. Crony capitalism. Cities and state governments create laws that locally prevent competition. The ISPs increase prices and reduce quality to price discriminate and increase profits on their local monopolies/duopolies. Then they give kickbacks to the politicians.

Desolas Arterius1 votes

It does depend on location though too. I used to live out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by mountains that interfered with connection. No internet provider actually wanted or even cared about that area, nor did any phone company either. So I had to live off of satellite for awhile since it was all that could reach the ranch I lived on. T-Mobile barely reached us back then too, but the service was pretty shaky considering how far away we were to the poles. We had at best 2 bars of service and could only make phone calls.

Sure nowadays there are some shady laws and business practices when it comes to internet and phone service (throttling is still a big issue... sadly..), but location is pretty important too. The closer you live near the mountains the harder it'll be to get a reliable connection. And since I live near the base of a mountain the only services I could connect to are Cox and Centurylink now that I live close enough to the city.

I think it also depends on the state you live in too since certain companies don't operate out of certain states. I remember reading about an analysis of the different internet providers and which ones are most commonly used per state. Interesting read nonethless. Don't know if I could find it again however.

tbh 20+ fps is manageable, higher fps makes the game a bit smoother, but as long as it's over 20 it's playable.

On the other hand 50ms and 100ms is a totally different story.

TheSequelsRBad2 votes

Ehh played for years with 150-175 ping, you can work with it, you just have to get used to it.

The Deckowner4 votes

yes u can get used to it, but when u have 50ms most the time, but once wvery few minutes you get a 300ping spike, it really fucks you over.

TheSequelsRBad3 votes

I would rather consistent 160 ping than fluctuating ping like you described.

Jayrett1 votes

I get 65~ typically and rarely spike, but it always goes to 500 when it does QAQ

The Deckowner2 votes

when it goes to 500 and stay there you are disconnected, the ping counter shows 500 when disconnected for some reason.

I used to play on 20 FPS. I was in Bronze V for 8 months, switched to 90 FPS computer and I'm in silver V now so I'd say FPS is a huge thing in this game .

Junkο1 votes

No offense but Bronze V to Silver V is literally the same shit for the most part, FPS didn't just magically make you climb.

Game is playable just fine at 30 FPS as long as it is stable, yeah 60 fps feels a lot smoother, but doesn't mean 30 is unplayable. And anything about 60 FPS is just redundant gameplay wise.

ll Ainz Sama ll1 votes

It never went up to 30 for me and it was around 10 in team fights, but it's true that watching high elo streamers, LCS and guides did help. But getting a stable FPS enabled me to actually use that knowledge to climb up, seeing as I could accurately target select, and react faster than before.

BTW passing 25 percent of players just by switching PC's is a success to me.

Doesn't work when you only have comcast in your area... [zombie-nunu-bummed]

Thuban1 votes

Meanwhile I'm on Comcast with zero problems. All of you Comcast haters are blowing smoke. I should mention that I'm on WiFi, I had a worse connection hardwired. 18 ping and not a single stutter. It might jump to 20-22 but that's it. And when the server was on the west coast i had 60-70 no stutters, again on WiFi with the same Comcast.

Mast3rMahan2 votes

I use comcast and though I normally sit around 48 ping, at least twice a game I will have ping that shoots up to 500+ for 30 seconds. I know it is comcast or their box that they provide because I recently moved from Direct Communications and using my own router and I never had that issue. It isn't an issue of location because now I'm in the same room as the router vs the opposite end of the house and up a floor. Comcast has issues, just not everyone has them.

Her ult looks only a little bit different from her autos and her volley. It's the biggest pay-to-win skin out there.

I never had an issue seeing her PROJECT ult. Funny part is i am nearly legally blind.

It's not really an issue seeing it, it is an issue realizing that it is an Ashe ult because of how much it expects you to comprehend in a little time frame. It's so overdetailed in every aspect that it's hard to realize wtf you are supposed to be looking at.
