Lord Renning1 votesThere is only so much Riot can do to help you get the role you want. The current dynamic queue is the closest they can get. After that it's all in the player's hands. If you dodge and lose lp, that is your fault, not Riot's, not that selfish players fault, but yours. Something you can do to help this, is become a more flexible player, expand your champion pool a little and practice other roles. Learn to play not just what you want to play, but also what your team needs.

Its not free loss if u cooperate. I played several times 2 mid and won most of the times due to opponent mid laner going afk. You have wrong mentality.
Again, you refuse to understand what people are telling you. Guy who stole your lane was wrong to do it, but ypur action only harmed you.

To be forced to do something on an online game would mean there is a person sitting next to you holding a gun to your head, or keeping your family hostage. Dodging is a choice. When its just five people sitting behind a computer screen in champion select, those other four people cannot control or force you to do anything. If you dodge and let them get their way, that is your choice, no one else is to blame but you. That is you being inflexible, you being just as selfish, and you bringing down your lp.

I'm not forced to dodge. I just consider you a douche, report the action as 'Unsportsmanlike' so I hopefully don't get paired with you again, and I roll with it.
You weren't forced to do anything. You mad a big boy choice. You CHOSE to dodge. You could have played the other role.
So call that guy an A-Hole... he certainly was. But don't blame him for you dodging. He didn't force you to do anything, especially not dodge. That was your choice and your action.

But YOU made a decision to Dodge. You could have took the other Role. Or you could have had a Douche Contest, went Mid anyways and reported him for "Unsportsmanlike"... of course, you be justified... but still a douche. Sometimes you fight douche with douche. It happens.

Edited to add: By the way, choosing to dodge doesn't make you a bad person. I'm not saying that. Likely was the right move, even. Just saying you were not FORCED to Dodge. It was your RIGHT to dodge, it was a JUSTIFIED Dodge even... but you weren't forced.

The downvoting is happening because you are blaming Riot for your lp lose when it was your CHOICE to dodge. I said it before and will say it again, no one forced you to do anything.

The guy who took your role was a douche, great example of an A+ Douche bag. But it was your CHOICE to dodge, no one "forced" you to do anything. YES he DID steal YOUR ROLE that YOU queued for, yes that is WRONG, yes that is SELFISH, yes he should be REPORTED FOR IT CAUSE HE RUINED YOUR GAME. But because you dodged, he won't learn his lesson, he won't get reported, and he will get away with it more time now before he gets caught.
In your first post (the whole reason this thread exsists) you blamed Riot and this role stealer for your lp lose. Riot is not at fault for his behavior. The Dynamic Que system that is currently going for ranked play lets you queue for roles you wish to play. If you get the role you want, then some asshat says they are taking that role away from you the asshat is the one in the wrong. At that point you could have taken the role that opened up and gambled for a win. But you CHOSE TO DODGE. Were you justified, probably, did dodging make things worse for you, YES IT DID.
YOU CANNOT BLAME YOUR LP LOSE ON THE ACTIONS OF ANOTHER PERSON WHEN YOU CHOSE TO DODGE
That is the point I am trying to make. It is not right, or fair, to blame someone else for your actions. Is the guy who took your role a douche? YES! Does he deserve to lose lp for that behavior? YES! Should he be punished and reported? YES! Can you blame your lp lose on him when you chose to dodge? NO!

But it is wrong when you blame someone else for your lp lose when your choice is to dodge.
Since it's a game that never happened, you don't know if you would have won or lost it. For all you know it could have been and lp gain.
Do you really feel that it is unreasonable to be a little flexible with your team on what role you take? If you really play at a diamond level then you should at least have a decent understanding of each role and therefore be capable of playing each role.
I am NOT saying he is right. I do agree that he is wrong and a complete asshole for taking your role. But it is not right to blame your lp lose on him when you didn't even let the game happen.
