Someone just laughed at me and called me bad for saying Singed is weak.

Assuming he wasn't just trolling me, can somebody explain what I'm missing? Because as he is right now Singed is just someone I play because I like him, his damage and usefullness in a match feels negligible at best. The days when you could catch an enemy team in a cloud and watch them wither down are long past, from what I've seen.

He's still good at what he was supposed to do and that's running around and generally being a major pain in the ass.

Singed is good, strong even. Viable across all elos. He is a very slept on champion. I understand you're playing him for fun, and that he's not OP or anything, but he is most definitely not weak.

Most sites report him being around exactly 50% winrate, but what's interesting is that, according to champmion.gg, 98% of singed games are players with <50 games on him. So he has a low-ish playrate and decent winrate with people who aren't singed gods. Seems like a balanced champion to me!

Just another comment, there are singed mains all the way up in master tier.

Singed has a very different play style than normal tanks. He is fast moving tanks and excels in annoying the enemy laner by proxy farming and making them lose farm as their minion wave keeps crashing on the tower. it is especially annoying for scaling champs like nasus and jax. They will lose a lot of farm early. Plus if they are good and helped by the jungler then they will snowball hard to midlane and even invade jungles.

Thus, with a very unique playstyle it is hard to tell if he is weak or strong.
