Actually Bone of Stone is pretty damn good on Malphite since after he engages and blows his abilities there's not that much he can do in a fight other than slap some fools.

Bone of Stone at least allows him to absorb some damage even if he's not the focus in a fight.

Grasp also tends to scale very poorly if you can't build any offence since 2 DPS late game doesn't even outdamage natural HP regen.

because a buff to a armor and MR was well as a braum negating most damage with his shield and the other parts with bond of stone and then shield with fotm is stupidly op

There ARE NO OTHER Alternatives.

You could basically get the same thing from season 5 with old Oppression and Evasive (final MR mastery tier) masteries.

And it wouldn't overshadow the other two keystones if they weren't such complete junk, alongside the other parts of the mastery trees
