Can people stop presenting less than a single day of data as proof?

Every single patch this happens. A site pushes out numbers for like 6 hours worth of data and everyone freaks out and starts crying "OMG THIS CHAMP OP/TRASH NOW!!!! NERF NERF NERF NERF!!!!!!!". Can we knock it off? Last patch it was Ahri and now it's Evelynn. Wow, one single site is displaying a champion at 54% WR in a single region while 3 others are displaying around 51%. Anyone want to take a guess which site is quoted when making a shitty ragepost for the front board?

Honestly data from less than at least 3-4 days of a new patch should just be ignored except in the most extreme circumstances. Stop trying to use innaccurate data as proof

Nope it is just like how Anti-vaxxers still exist and that study was even proven wrong.

What about champions that have been sitting above 54% win rate for liek 3 months now

Well i mean look at kassadin. He spiked to 55% win ratio and 13% pick ratio in korea. And riot already thinking about hotfixing him next week.Or fizz for example after his last unneded buff spiked into 56% win ratio in like 1 day...its fine for a new champs tho, because they new.

in essence what the OP is saying is correct.

but there are indications of a nerf or a buff being at least in the direction if there is early change indicator. however it wont be possible to teel if said buff or nerf wen't far enough or went too far without more data

the more data u have the better, no one is going to argue that.

but there are also many sites that CHOOSE to ignore data from other regions (like op.gg looking at only korean data) or other elos' (most sites seems to only list plat + and by very definition ignore over 90% of the data) op.gg is by far the worst of them looking at only plat + korean data . (and yes your "na.op.gg" is korean data.. NOT north american data)

i find https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/ to be the most accurate

as it look at data from every elo in every region including "unranked" and allows u to sort by each one allowing you see see how a change effect every champion in every elo in every region if u so choose.
