Be careful about what you wish...

With the amount of people asking for Riot to create a new AP/armor item; for example, an AP version of Hexdrinker that works against physical damage.

I have to ask, though: Have you ever thought of how this item can benefit ? He scales very well with armor, and benefits from AP, too. Depending from how powerful this possible new item is, Malphite can become broken.

Riot can't just create new items or rework old items without thinking of how some champions can abuse it. Otherwise it just leads to abuse cases that usually end up on the item itself being nerfed.
