Things I've learned from playing SoloQ

  • If you play jungle, you can almost never count on your team to do well without pinging for help at lvl3
  • You can't count on your teammates to communicate or even work together
  • You can count on someone being a troll, and the meaning of troll is subjective
  • 97% of the time, it's going to feel like the enemy team is just better than your team
  • If you play ADC, your support most likely won't communicate with you
  • If you see Darius you're in trouble
  • If you see Master Yi expect a headache
  • You will get very tired of seeing Yasuo
  • SoloQ does however, teach to think for yourself and I think that's a very good thing

Yup, people ask for help way too early in the game, even before I've gone back to base just 1 time.

And yeah, people really don't communicate or work together.

Ranked is a better experience, at least once you climb up a little bit. People often don't take Normals as seriously as you want them to, and are there to practice for Ranked or just there for fun in general (though there are some that do it competitively, but not Ranked for some reason).

Yeah I would think that people would play a little better if something is actually at stake :3 Though I'm lacking in runes at the moment so I gotta hold off on ranked for now.

And then an item that requires teamwork to get shutdown hard gets released and people qq all day long because "muh soloplay"...
