Can we have a "no yasuo" option for normals.
Let's be real, no normals player wants to see this champ.

play normal draft and ban him
Normal Draft is awesome for that. If your teammate hovers Yasuo, just ban him. If no one hovers Yasuo, no need to ban him because if the enemy picks Yasuo you've basically won.
then yasuo proceeds to kharry lol
If your teammate hovers Yasuo, just ban him.
bro that is toxic as fuck, if you're going to ban something that your teammate wants to play, especially without saying anything then yasuo isn't the problem, you are.
I ban what I want, if someone has a problem with that, he can go cry in his sleep. Being toxic is toxic. Banning a champion is my decision.
You're right you do have the right to ban what you want. Personally I don't think banning your teams hovered champions is a good idea however.
In ranked you may want to ban that Yasuo so you're midlaner or toplaner can't pick him but unless you look up his record you have no idea if you're banning out a champion he excels at playing. Thereby significantly hurting your own chances of winning the game. The solution could be to op.gg him and see how well he plays the champion and if he has any decent back ups. If your midlaner is hovering Yasuo and his average kda is 5/10/5 across 20 games banning Yas doesnt seem like such a bad idea. Still especially in ranked it's worth noting that banning your teamates champion may tilt them before they game even starts again lowering your chances of winning the game.
As for normals.. Well personally I'll never understand people banning something from their own team. It's a normal. It'll never (or very rarely) be an even well rounded game. There's a good chance you have people first timing champions or at least learning them so what does it matter if your team mate wants to try to learn Yasuo. (e.g. I'm silver 3 and just had maybe my fifth game playing Gangplank trying to learn him and had to lane against a Plat 4 Riven) They're just fun games where people play weird stuff half the time. Is it really worth banning Yasuo only to have them first time Lee top instead? Maybe it is.. Like you said that's your decision.
Either way I'm not one to flame my team if they ban Yas. It happens sometimes on accident sometimes on purpose. In ranked I'll play one of the other 3 champions I know how to play. In normals I'll work on learning a champion that's interesting to me at the time. Currently GP.
Or I could simply ignore all that reasoning, and ban something because I think its garbage or bad and I don't wanna see it in my games :D
Or that lol.
I wasn't joking, that's the core issue here.
People don't have to justify their bans, same as they don't have to justify their picks. Its an individual decision for a reason.
And banning something because I would rather not see it in my game, is as good a reason as any, and better than most.
Maybe you don't have to justify your ban. But that doesn't me you're free of any consequences that result from your ban. Sure it's your decision, but it's a team game and you could be negatively impacting your team. Just like in normal life, every decision you make impacts others. Whether that's a negative impact or a positive one is your decision.
Shame OCE doesn't have normal draft, we just have to hope we don't vs annoying shit.
wow are you serious? you only have blind? ono
Yeah, hell we never even had dominion. Worst thing about only having blind pick is that u can just have the worst luck for your lane opponent, like had this one time where all I wanted was to play a game as riven. Well the next 4 or 5 games all I versed were pantheon and renekton
I think the boards are over exaggerating against Yasuo. Since saying "Let's make this one champ completely out of the game for this match." Is just really, really salty.
Defending an op champ ain't a crime especially when the champ's availability is called into question.
I think it's just that he is the most played champion in normal games for a while now and that he's just straight up annoying, even when they feed, all the dashing and windwalls are annoying to deal with. Sure there are other far more annoying champions in the game but Yasuo is the most played champion in the game + annoying.
Yasuo has a 21.72% play rate overall. He has an under 50% win percent in mid, with a 52% winrate top. Those numbers aren't even that strong, the highest winrate right now is Sona with 58%, highest play rate is Lucian with 25% and that's just in one role whereas Yasuo's is top and mid combined, 11.28% and 10.44%.
Those stats are from ranked games in plat and higher, this thread is about normal games.
if youre going into blind pick you always go for a counterpick which trumps all the popular picks and win by default
tired of seeing yasuo? start picking malzahar and bend him over.
Then feed 10 kills because you don't know how to play malzahar.
You're implying its actually hard to play Malzahar...
No he's implying some guy will play malzahar without actually knowing how to play him. counterpicks are pointless if you are shit with the pick.
It doesn't take skill to play Malz though.
The same can be said about
but you can still screw up just by not knowing the champion well enough. No matter how simple the champion there is still the difference between a good one and a bad one.
So, as a result of a toxic champ, people have to be FORCED to pick a champ, in a CASUAL game mode, where they are encouraged to have the ability to do almost anything they want. Ok.
Edit: "/s"
Not forced to, you can beat Yasuo playing pretty much any pick if you are good enough. If he doesn't want to improve, then what can they do besides pick the hardest counter?
This is in REPLY to a poor suggestion made by a previous user.

He wants you to just pick Malz, and that the only way of dealing with Yas should be to just pick Malz. This is wrong.
You can beat Yas with any pick if you are good enough. You can beat anything with anyone if you are good enough. But they still have the advantage. If you are good at Darius, you can beat a bad Kayle. If they are a good Kayle, the skill "balances out", so Kayle will have a much higher chance to beat Darius.
I think I might need to put in a "/s".
where they are encouraged to have the ability to do almost anything they want.
So why is it wrong for someone to play Yasuo then? If that's what they want to play why is it ok for you to tell them no? OH because you dislike a certain champ it gives you the right??? There are more champs more antifun than Yasuo like Malz or Leblanc. Can't remove them all. I hate facing leblanc. Don't see me posting on the boards asking her to be removed. Funny because you main Illaoi. The most cancerous, toxic top laner in the game right now that 1v2s. But you're talking? Hypocritical
I guess this is why you're stuck in gold 5 with negative win rate. Instead of trying to improve and learning how to deal with Yasuo who isn't even strong right now, you rather bitch even though you yourself abuse broken champs like Illaoi
*1v5

I do Cho gath and laugh at the zed and yasuo trying to out play me and insta kill me like they usually can do, then they get knocked up, silenced, and eaten.
considering how frequent we see AD midlaners I will often ask my buddy if he wants to play rammus JG. He just shit's all over AD comps of pretty much any kind.
Then comes the qss rush
What's a blind pick? Is that when you close your eyes and pick a random champ in draft?
Yasuo
is like Zed
and Vayne
. For some reason, whenever they're on your team they always feed. But when they're on the enemy team, it's a Challenger Smurf.
(Obviously, this is hyperbole.)
it's called [Shaco Syndrome]
These Yaauo threads are becoming as a common as DQ threads

well, if the boards' logic is that DQ threads are so abundant because DQ is a SERIOUS PROBLEM (which apparently it is).
well, by that logic Yasuo is a SERIOUS PROBLEM.
....strangely, for once I agree with the boards in this matter.

As someone who has been posting Yasuo hate threads for two years, I don't want him gutted, I want him to get a small rework (shen sized) so he's less frustrating to play against.
There is a No Yasuo option.
It's called the Ban Phase
Only if we also get a No-
mode as well. If you can get your tilting champion out I can get mine :D
At this point you might as well just stop playing.
Now that we're at it, I dislike

What is the problem with Amumu, Fiddle, Tahm (now), Rammus?
Do I really need a reason? I thought we could just ban every champion we dislike. But it's quite simple in the end, they have CC and stop me from doing what I want to do. I don't like that, so let's just delete them from the game because that's how this thread works after all.
maybe when you get out of wood tier level normals you'll see players who feel differently
In wood tier everyone hates yasuo because everyone in wood tier sucks
Despite the fact that the meta champs right now trash on him? Malzahar, cassio, vladimir, they all do really well against him.
Nice upvote fishing you're doing there mate, want some additional bait? Here you go:
"Zed is still broken op" "Sona is NOT broken after her nerfs this patch"
The way it seems is, and just from personal experience,
A good Yasuo has very little to no counters
Play rammus
